I don't have any on my truck.

I was thinking of putting a few window stickers on to show my support for those organizations.

I've heard where vehicles have been damaged by people who don't support those organizations.

How frequently (or what's the likelihood) of getting your vehicle keyed or getting other damage?

BTW, the stickers I'd start with are for the NRA, American Legion and USMC.

I've had NRA stickers on my vehicles for as long as I can remember. Never had a problem.

I currently have a McCain/Palin bumper sticker on and will admit that I have been worried about that one, I'm in a very 'liberal' part of the state. Still, not a problem.

I know several people with similar stickers who have never been keyed, but then I live in a state that strongly supports all 3 of those organizations.

Never been a big fan of bumper stickers. Nothing against the message they send but I find they cheapen the look of a vehicle.

Yep I agree with you Brian, so I never have had a bumper sticker on my cars.

No window stickers at present, but I have had them before.

Yesterday we had a letter in our newpaper saying:
To the person who demolished the rear window of my car:
If you were trying to get my attention you did.
If you were trying to make me angry you did.
If you were trying to cost me money you did.
If you did it because I had an Obama sticker on my window grow up. :D

Made me chuckle.

I currently have an OIF Veteran decal on my window. 10-12 years ago I had an NRA decal and a bumper sticker touting a conservative view point and someone wrote over it with a permanent marker. I guess I stepped on their toes. It also made my point about liberals I guess.

I have refrained from putting another NRA decal or the Glock decal I have simply because I don't want to advertise a vehicle in the truck. And because I an carrying a 1911 and I believe in truth in advertising. Anybody seen any tasteful 1911 decals?

I don't care for stickers that much, but do have one on the car and truck, window stickers. They are CSFA stickers(Calif Stat Firefighters Assoc).

Have a Ducks Unlimited and a Cali Waterfowl Assoc sticker, but have never put them on.

I generally don't care for bumper stickers, but when Ted Kennedy was running for the dem nomination for president, I made my own that said "Remember Chappaquiddick." I have a couple of NRA and AWF (Arizona Wildlife Federation) stickers on my vehicles. They haven't drawn any undue attention.

I have not heard of any issues around our neck of the woods. Not saying it can not happen though.

I have stickers on my Jeeps from the events and places I have been. But only a few as I am try to keep it tasteful too.

I do not have any on my truck. Just a FORD plate on the front.

Now my wifes Steeler Van has some nice big decals on the side of it that say

STEELERS

the hood has FAN VAN
and the entire van is painted with hammerite paint in black and gold of course!!!
buts thats a whole different story...

I've never been much of a bumper sticker person myself. I had my sign company make a couple of stick on signs for the tailgate of my Dodge dually. The first one is the USMC Eagle, Globe and Anchor. The other one states " yeah, i'll forgive JANE FONDA when the Jews forgive Hiltler. I've had them on my truck since it was new in '06 and so far have had nothing but positive comments, even when traveling through Mt, Idaho, Washinghton and Oregon.

No stickers, but a couple of my cars have 150,000 mile badges on the grill. One is coming up on 300,000, but I think I'm selling it before I get there.

Other than, no stickers, ever.

Howdy,
I have a NRA Endowment Life sticker on my tool box in the back of the truck. I also have a couple of Harley Shovel Head stickers on the back side windows. Down here noone messes with anyones vehicle for fear of the magic .45 stoppers that most folks have handy. Dont have any on the bumpers. Have a goodun!!!

Once you put an NRA sticker on your vehicle, for some reason they know when to harass you 24/7 for more money. Finally told them to stick it.

My favorite sticker:D

On a side note, in my "younger years" I had some pretty crazy bumper stickers on, never a problem. Figure if some liberal yuppie wants to key your car, if you catch him, just beat the crap out of him:thumb:

On my old truck, I had an Apple Sticker, a Windows Sticker, and Linux (Tux) sticker, and NRA Sticker, a USA Flag, a Canadian flag, whatever free bumper stickers the NRA gave me and even a Ron Paul Sticker.

On my new SUV - nothing - it's too purdy. I haven't defiled my new "old" truck - yet. I need some good new free stickers.

Never have had a sticker on any car I've owned, but I did recently have a pink ribbon car magnet.
It turned grey and lost the colour, so I removed it.

I don't put stickers on my vehicles, but the people that did my spray in bed liner in my truck to the liberty to put one on the window of my truck. I haven't taken it off yet but did send an e-mail to corporate Linex that I didn't appreciate the practice and next time I would send them a bill for removing it.

I did have support our troops yellow ribbon magnet on my car along with the us flag. They have been removed as they were showing signs of wear on the wifes car and someone stole the ones on my car.

I had a 'Boycot Jane Fonda American Traitor B*tch' bumper sticker once. Had a putz beat on the hood while I was waiting at a light in Sante Fe, NM. There was other damage that would show up once in a while. Eh, it was a sh*tbox '74 AMC Ambassador. Even if it had been a beautiful new car, it would have worn those scars as a badges of honor.

When I bought my last used truck, it didn't have any stickers on it when I went to look at it the first time. After I made the deal with the dealership and went to pick it up, I found that they had put a huge company sticker on the rear window with their comapy name on it. I'm talking like the whole back glass was a billboard for their dealership. I let them know how unimpressed I was about it and had them remove it before I even left the lot.

I don't have one....but I think there should be some kind of regulation on them. I get so mad when I drive up on a car with a sticker that has strong language or inappropriate pictures. My kids are in the car and reading them. I also hate to see the t-shirts some wear in public. Some of them are pretty raunchy. I just think there is a time and place for everything.

I have a yellow ribbon - support our troups - magnet stuck to the table clip in the Norsebox - does that count? I don't stick it outside as it would probably fall off or get washed off in all the rain in this country.

I'm a NRA life member since 1975 but I don't have a sticker because I don't want anyone breaking into my f250 or bronco to see if I leave a gun in them. I'd rather it be a suprise if they mess with me. My 78 bronco had a life sticker on it but those were different times. rugerman

Tractors4u a Norsebox is my horsebox, painted in the colours of the Kings Troup of the Royal Horse Artillery, it is called the Norsebox as it carries my snowtrac (hence the Norse) and as you can see from the picture it also sometimes tows the Willys Jeep on my trailer behind it. It has a sleeper cab, and living accommodation in the front part of the box. The luton over the cab contains a double bed and two bedside cabinets and down the ladder in the living area, from the ladder to the right, is a pine dresser, the table with the 'save our troups' magnet, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers. Then the door with access to the snowtrac (where the shire horses were carried) then the door to the outside with aluminium steps, then my fridge, sink and gas cooker. Very comfortable and useful accommodation, a camper van with a difference - that is a Norsebox!
