What does everyone do for exercise?

I do more like 15 per week.
Hot one last night! 85 and 100% humidity.
And as a farmer there are many days when I get in several as well, but I do not count those.

Exercise???? 12 ounce curls for me LOL.

Just kidding
At almost 75 years of age I still do a fairly physical job. Most of the warehouse work in my Packaging company is done by me. I also build retaining walls, landscaping, and, along with our St louis Suburban home, my wife and I have an 80 ranchette in the MISOOURI OZARKS.

The closest thing to a gym in my life I had to abandon years ago when I retired from the Fire department. I never quite understood the logic of having an hour on intense workouts just before a 24 hour shift of a physically intense occupation.

75? Im 24. I have a few years left to go to get there.

I enjoy walking/jogging about 20 miles a week.
Not enough right now but I am a fencing coach and teach Olympic style saber fencing. I'm also a long distance hiker, in the planning stages for a hike across part of Wales, UK next summer.

I've got a treadmill, elliptical machine and exercise bike but I've also got a 17 month old foster baby in the house that keeps me away from my equipment and mostly just crawling on the floor with him.

No, only this one. We have mentored kids over the years. And we have work with a foreign exchange student for 3+ years. Others here have done far more than my wife and I in regards to fostering.

I suggest you fill them with adventure, love and fun. Just remember, you want to always be able to look back and smile. Including even about this episode.

I'm 74 and retired so I go to the gym 5 to 7 times a week and walk 2 miles on the treadmill. I can't lift much because of injuries but I can walk, so no excuse not to walk.

I wish! There are never any women close to my age....just young whipper-snappers. LOL

I love bicycling ....been doing it a long time.

Used to ride a motorcycle till a girl ran a red light and nailed me...lucky to have survived with nothing more than a broken foot....happened right in front of the Rio Hotel in Vegas.

Decided to give it up after that...not real exercise anyhow but it was a lot of fun.

Thus I took up bicycling been riding for years but on Dec. 28 a lady nailed me whilst I was crossing the street....said she did not see me...the cop told me for some reason it is usually women that run over motorcyclists and bicycists....dont know if that is true ...but true for sure in my experience.

I was very fortunate in both cases...did not even get a broken bone this time....I went airborne in both cases...my doctor told me it is very unsual for someone that goes 'airborne' not to have some very serious injuries....my bicycle (expensive one) a 'Gary Fisher) was totaled......really liked that bike.

I am not giving up bicycling......I just try and avoid intersections...any time you put your bike in front of a car irregardless if you have the right of way or not....you are gambling with your life.

Over 800 bicyclists were killed here in Florida last year.

Bicycles have really gotten expensive....I replaced my 'Gary Fisher' with a thrift store 'special' hehheh. Paid $65.00 for it.

Had to do some work on it.

I usually ride the Pinellas trail....old R.R. track converted to a bycycle trail....the used to not allow motorized vehicles on it but now I see more and more electric bikes....kinda defeats the purpose in my opinion....to get exercise....at least that is my purpose.

I find that filling and pulling pallets of goods, my team manufactured, about my warehouse is exercise enough.
A sedentary job, in front of a computer screen, is worse than prison.

I used to go to the gym 3 xs a week pre pandemic. I had a year membership. Lost a third of that when covid first hit and gyms were ordered closed. Then restrictions lifted mid summer and the gyms were allowed to reopen with restrictions but the workout program I was part of for people with chronic pain wasn't allowed to be offered so people like me had to stay home sitting in pain.

Even now 2 years later, the gyms are allowed to be open but restrictions in place which prohibit groups and you have to book a time slot to work out now. It's not just show up whenever you want and work out.

I have found acupuncture of great benefit in dealing with pain....kinda expensive unless you can find one of those communty accupuncture clinics.

I've had acupuncture. I've had pretty much every kind of treatment there is for my back as I've been going to physical therapy for 6 years along with chiropractor for 2 years. What has been working the best is suction cups. They smother by entire back with gel then press a couple of suction cups on my back and move them around to lift and manipulate the muscles to loosen them.
