Nope....... not going to order sausage gravy from Goodwill.
Cracker Barrel was always dependably different from the other restaurant offerings. Their food was wholesome and worth eating. Their stores were full of high priced "junk" although the clothing was high quality. We always stopped at one when traveling.
This new trend is troubling because it appears the uniqueness of Cracker Barrel is going away. But their high prices and new menu offerings, decisions made to be comparable to the rest of the industry, will shut them down.
What I am saying is a belief that such an attempt to modernize from a successful, traditional "Just Like Home" offering will be their end.

She wants CB to be the hip joint of her political bias. Her customers are generally conservative flag waving commoners.
I cannot help but see failure.
The central city folk won't go for it.
