Thinking about how this makes sense. We're taught to cough into our elbow when we're sick so as to not cover our hands in germs. Then.....get this one and tell me if it makes sense? So we cough into our elbows. Then to stop the spread of germs through handshakes, we're told to bump elbows. The same elbows that we just released all our nasal germs into. I'm confused.

No different than the intelligence of having a plexiglass barrier between you and the cashier who touches and breathes on every bit of food you just bought.

People have a need to be creative and invent something useful that changes what we know works to something that doesn't. We call 'em "experts." which is commonly defined as a drip under pressure.

To put insult to injury,,,; lately, we have had to pay off some of their college loans which is where they got educated and motivated to screw things up.

I'm thinking today about next Tuesday at the voting polls.

I wonder how many will have to open their wallet to show a picture ID and notice how empty it is of cash.

I wonder if it's still politically correct to say I "blew the tranny" when talking about cars to my buddies?

After all, the Girl Guides of Canada are going to be changing the name of one of their age groups. The younger ones were called "brownies" for over 100 years and are now changing the name as certain ethnic groups are taking offense. 🤔

Are these still considered politically correct? After all, we've changed the names of aunt Jemima pancake mix and a few names of major league sports teams that were considered too sensitive to certain ethnic groups.

Why ask for my expertise, to only ignore it.

You could have saved us both time, by not asking.

If you ask again, expect to be ignored.

That was what I told my neighbor earlier today.

oh my goodness how many times I have been "cited" by others as being like your neighbor!
It usually goes, "why are you even asking me, you don't care what I think."
It happens often enough that I spent some time reflecting on it ..... arriving at; there are lessons to be learned on both sides of that interaction. I would share what I think they are, but I suspect you would ignore it :) hah!
(all in fun , ok ?)
have a good day

People who send their kinds to summer camps and boarding schools were always thirty. They were born with mustaches, they always were in the high positions they are now. They were never children.

Same guy who told me that I was no longer wanted, because I refused to be jabbed, called me today and offered me a job, a better one than I had before, plus a $28,310 per month raise...was shocked when I told him to "shove his job up his ass". All the medical professionals who were treated like an enemy, for doing nothing wrong, have moved on.
They have a huge shortage now, especially of specialists.
The hospital has1/4 of the Radiologists they need, andno one is going back, who was let go for not taking the clot shot. The government makes up ridiculous rules, so lose most of their good people, then complain about shortages, and whine when the people refuse to return.

I told him not to call me again, unless the job offer included a salary of $25,000,000 per week, thus guaranteeing he will not call.

As I get older, I've learned to appreciate the finer things in life.

Take this week for example. I finally had enough of the free flowing, stretched out elastic, full of holes boxers I've been wearing for 20+ years and tossed them all in the dump and spoiled myself with a new package of fruit of the loom. That dangly chaffing feeling is no longer.

Like I said...learn to appreciate the finer things 😉

Splurge on a few pairs of Ex-Officio boxers. They will change your life. The fabric is magic as it brushes against your twig and berries. You will see unicorns. The sky will be bluer. The rain will be warmer. The snow will be softer. The girls will be prettier.
