What are you doing today, II

My niece Katie gave birth to a beautiful baby boy!
This is her 3rd child.
She named him Maverick ❤️
Katie is the youngest daughter of my sister who passed away in the car crash.
Momma and baby are doing well.
Great Aunt Loralei is thrilled!

No,I have breast cancer
What you do not seem to grasp is the fact that you're being tracked for all the crap you've been posting on HERE since day one.
I'm no idiot.
You're a disgrace to every woman who has ever had cancer.
Go find yourself a notebook and a sharp pencil to keep track of your posts from one forum to the other.
Your lack of punctuation and similar post style was the first thing that sent the red flags.
I could include screenshots, but I'm tired of it all.

Worked in the shop until lunch time then got some more done in my cabin. Went quite a bit better today now that I’m more “experienced “ as a carpenter 😂. Pretty much have the hardest parts done now, just a little more insulation to put in the walls and some poly and it’s somewhat useable.

I'm still working on the furnace room upgrades. Two walls that were not going to be sheet rocked now looked bad with the bare studding. So, they got drywall the other day, tape and mud yesterday and paint today.
We have two more matching cabinets at the other end of the laundry. I have decided to install them as well. First, I have to clear them of contents and then build legs for the table they are currently holding up.

I'll build them today whilst the paint dries on the new walls.

Recovering???

Bed at 10pm, awake at 11 with violent vomiting. Again shortly after midnight. Again about 1:30 with the added bonus of diarrhea. Both continued until about 4am.:poop::puking::toiletpap

Shivering/fever for about 3 hours. Heated/electric shawl, 3 blankets, long sleeve shirt and a sports warm up jacket to try to stay warm. Then about 3:30 I was overheated and kicked everything off.

Honestly couldn’t believe how much came out! I ate a single hamburger after fencing. I think I expelled 3 days worth of food, or at least it felt like that much.

One bottle of water consumed about 4am. Tonic water about 8:00.

There is a 36 hour stomach bug floating around the area. Guessing I got it?

I spent most of the day out I'm the garage. First, finishing the wiring I was working on yesterday then started to do some organizing until I got sidetracked by a pile of wood sitting over by my workbench leftover from another project. I turned the pile into an entrance organizer/ coat hanger. What prompted this was that I had built a 4 place one 5 years ago for one side but we had a small row of hooks on the other side for coats. One by one, the hooks began snapping last week so I said f it and built something more sturdy.

I think I finished the Furnace room upgrade today.
Sheeted all the walls and painted them white.
Installed 8 plastic cabinets with wood grain doors.
Cleared, organized and secured the maze of wires, phone TV and internet cables.
I thought we had some "before" images. Nope.
But here is the final result from Crumpy....

Wow the woodgrain doors are really nice looking!

Me, I'm recovering. Vomiting stopped about 30 hours ago. Headache went away last evening. Diarrhea continues. I did eat some cauliflower in cheese sauce about 5pm last evening. And then a simple sandwich about 7pm, just plain white bread + 1 piece of sliced turkey + 1 piece of ham. The cauliflower went down and stayed down. That gave me the courage to try for a sandwich, which may have been a mistake? It sat in my stomach like a lead weight. But it stayed there. I was just uncomfortable for a couple hours.

Up at 5am this morning for a visit to the bathroom. Some water. 1 small cup of coffee & my normal meds. Feeling pretty good, all things considered. Clearly far better than 24 hours ago. Should be able to lead a close to normal day today. Going to be very careful with food intake.

I went for my TTE/Cardioversion today
I get in the room switched to JUST hospital gown sat there about 1/2 hour they came in and did an ekg not a blip of the AFib ????
they wait another half hour doctor comes in they do another EKG not a blip of the AFib. He says that they weren't going to do the procedure because I wasn't in AFib And he said some times when you have the Flu it happens. The nurse say's get dresses and she'll be back I get dressed they do one more ekg still no AFib and I'm discharged.
Me and the MR's stop at the bar near our house to celebrate we both have a Mountain Burger with fries.
I'm still tired and coughing I assume because of the Flu but as others Dr and others said it could be another week or 2 I hope it go's fast.

Great news!

Fixin to go mark trees to spot for a mulcher coming tomorrow to cut paths around the property.

Didn't watch the eclipse as I value my sleep when I can get it. Woke up in pain shortly after 5am. The usual. I finished up the entrance hanger cubby I have been working on this week and got it installed. I also picked up a load of lumber for a couple upcoming projects. Here's the finished product installed.

I suppose the real answer is: I'm not doing diddly squat. but believe it or not I'm just now starting up Saving Private Ryan. I've never ever seen it.

Bought a new fridge for my shop. The Samsung wpos cooled fine, but I could not get defrost to work.
Put my shop Govee in the freezer section for now, since it's a new fridge. Just to make sure it works.
But now I like that idea. I'm going to buy either for each of the feezer sections of the other two fridges, and need to replace the one for the shop.
Very handy.

Since it's been very warm and breezy, I took two long walks today.
We're supposed to get strong storms late tonight into tomorrow, however our weather dude on the Toledo station predicts it's going to weaken before it reaches here.
My friend David had open heart surgery this morning at St. Vincent.
He's doing well.
Not much else to speak of.

I'm the only person on the forum @8:04pm?
😲
Probably. Remember, most of us are old guys. Our bedtime is 8:00. ;)

I just got back from an out-of-state road trip. Visited my parents and did stuff for them (mostly the transition tasks from winter to spring) then another 80 miles to my sisters to help her with outdoor chores and accessorizing her new truck.

Good for you.
I was wondering about ya, with that kidney stone taken out then we had not seen ya for a bit. Glad you are out and about and able to help family out. Good job.

PI spent most of yesterday cleaning up winter's debris in the yard.
Woke up today to find tree branches and leaves everywhere!
So, today I got to do it all over again.
I cut oak limbs to 12" pieces.

Enough to lay 2 feet of
logs atop the firewood
rack @ 8' long.

Been burning tree debris and sagebrush for days, it stopped raining for a couple days so I tore out all the sagebrush and piled it up, Monday it rains again, so I can finish it, then I can re shape the arena
