On behalf of the sno-drifters, we thank and appreciate the hard work, planning and dedication Pontoon Princess puts into these events. Also big thanks to all the elves who scouted trails. prepared fantastic lunches, repaired sick cats, and worked to make this an epic event. As to ducking the fog for future SV events, you earned the right to go out in style. Good show PP.
And to arrange for Mr. and Mrs. Doc to attend, WOW. So pleased to meet The Man and his boss!!

Day 2, we were behind everyone, I think they thought the kitten had broken down, but it didn't. The problem was Ian, the kitten driver, had to climb some hills and it only goes about half as fast as a full sized Tucker. However, he did overheat the clutches/brakes so steering was limited when he got to lunch meadows. Here a a couple pictures of him climbing the kitten. You may have to zoom in on that second one to see him.

Can anyone say Tucker? There sure were a lot of Tuckers there of all shapes and sizes. Us non-Tucker two trackers were definitely in the minority, but we had an absolute blast!!!!!!!!!

Sorry we had to leave a day early and miss the last adventures, but my wife had to work and I had an appointment. Until next time we cross tracks, be well, stay safe, and go crush some snowflakes out there! Thanks to all, we will miss you, Gmoose and Miss Gmoose, oh ya and Junior Gmoose (the worlds renowned Kitten driver).

My wife, Gail, and I were very fortunate to be invited to be guests of honor at this years Snow-Cat Serenade in Sun Valley Idaho. Pontoon Princess gets all the credit for making all this happen. She is the primary organizer / delegator that keeps this event together.

Gail and I were planning to renew our vows while in Idaho and I asked Pontoon Princess if she knew of a minister in Sun Valley so that we might have a little ceremony while we were out there. PP took that thought and ran with it to the extent that we renewed our vows near the top of Fox Peak (8630 ft above sea level) with the snow-cat gang in attendance. We wanted a serious but light hearted ceremony and PP came through in flying colors. No rice was thrown. Instead small snowballs sufficed. A very memorable meaningful experience for both Gail and I. God took care of the back drop and I have never ever seen anything so beautiful. The attached pics give an idea but they do not do justice to the immensity of the beauty of the Sawtooth Mountains. Breathtaking.

I was thrilled to meet so many of our snow-cat forum members. So nice to put a face to the names I see on the forums every day. And to see what they have done with these amazing machines we call snow-cats. They have 'cats' with Volkswagen engines, 407 Chrysler engines, and even 496 GM engines. Amazing. And every one of them climbed up these skinny mountain trails. Absolutely no place to pass or go around if someone breaks down. Planning goes into each ride to ensure no issues, but when issues happen, and they did, these guys are pros at working together to get the snow-cats back up and running. One of the snow-cats we rode in even had a welder and full set of tools; ready for about anything. These guys are dedicated to their snow-catting hobby. I feel so fortunate to have been invited to see all this up close and personal. Thank you again Pontoon Princess. You are so kind and generous to put on such an event for all the 'ole grousers' to get together and have such a great time in a beautiful place like Sun Valley.

I posted pics of many of you who were with us in Sun Valley. Anyone who sees a pic of themselves they prefer not to have online please message me and I will remove it.

I attached a lot of thumbnails on this post. Let me know if it takes to long to load and I can break them into multiple posts.

Hey guys, I posted the above and more on facebook.
It is global so all can see it.
Brian / aka trac addict I included some of your awesome photos as I thought they were much better than mine, hope that is okay. Say the word and I will delete them. .
If anyone does not want their pic on FB let me know and I will remove.

NOTE: I changed permissions back to friends only instead of global. The post is still there. You have to friend me to see it. But it's pretty much the same as what is posted here.

We had such a great time! Thank you PP for the above and beyond experience! We appreciate the time you put into this, and it really was a wonderful event. It's always fun to see all of our cat friends, and we make more every time. I didn't take any pictures myself, but Anna has a bunch and I'll try to add some later. Thanks again to PP as we'll as everyone who came, it was awesome!

I want to just say a huge huge thank you to the Pontoon Princess for all the time and effort that you have put into all of the gatherings we have been able to attend because of your dedication to get us all together and out on the snow. I have met a great bunch of people that I never would have met without these gatherings. So with that said you and you alone are responsible for Mother Tucker and I being friends. Gee Thanks!!!!! (Sorry I couldn't help myself)
