I have nieghbors. Like any small small small small town. But outside of town a few hundred feet from my front door I can go and walk for weeks and weeks in a straight line and never even see another human being or evidence of one! Actually Ely is the most remote town in the continental U.S.. 
But can you do both at the same time and not get your shoes wet?
Regardless, I agree: reasons #1 & #2, not sure which order.

Uh.....NO.
Yes, you can, but all those old ladies at the retirement home you live notice youTake a leak....hell, I can walk from the house to the pool, swim around for a bit and go back to the house before I realize I forgot to put on my swim suit.

For the first six months we lived here, I had my wife convinced that peeing all around the property helped to keep the coyotes away.

I was in Ely once, many years ago, stopped for gas on a motorcycle trip. Did not stop at Currant to fill up as there was another town called Warm Springs on the map, but when we arrived all there was there was a closed down restaurant with the gas pumps removed. Ran out of gas close to Tonopah and had to hitch a ride into town to get gas. Toured Yosemite the next day and, the ranger at the entrance was going to charge me a child's entrance fee for the wife. When we stopped and camped that night in the Sierra Nevada mountains, the wife asked if the campground had showers as we drove by the only source of water in the camp, a hand pump in the middle of the campground. The next day we took route 89 which was a great ride for a motorcycle, curvy and a 28 per cent grade. Went to our meeting in Reno and headed home, but got held up by snow in Wyoming. This was in either 88 or 89. Do not know how I can remember crap like this when I cannot remember what I had for supper last night.
Getting back to the original question, yes, the only problem is that this time of year, without leaves on the trees you have to be careful which direction you walk when you leave the building.

Me too I can take a wiz and/or shoot a gun right from my back porch.
I generally have to sit my beer down to do both, however.
I live right outside the city limits, in the country- within a manufactured housing addition.
The rural areas good for walking and biking are just about a mile down the road.
Lots of nice streams and woods to explore with paths.
I like living in what I call the "countryside"- though the town I am in is typical small town Americana.
Population: about 7,000.

I'm about the same. I do have to set the gun or beer down to wave to the neighbor's wife...

Bc, just keep the beer and gun in your hand, lean back a bit and wiggle, it will wave to your neighbors wife just fine.
Of course a little bit of length and girth helps.

I can too and usually get "The Talk" from "She Who Must Be Obeyed"

, and yes I am waiting for snow. When I was younger I used to mow my lower field in the "buff" for tanning purposes except for my work boots until I got caught by some female colleagues from work who had decided to pay me a surprise visit. My oil rag under the seat:nosee: did make for a decent loin cloth. Not a pretty picture , but not a lot to hide :nosee: . JayThat would have made you pretty close neighbors with my father's family. They lived in the stretch between Milton and Selinsgrove.
