PG's Tasteful Religious Memes and Photos

Wish it had been meatless Tuesday instead of Friday. Friday is simply harder for me to go meatless. I suppose it is not intended to be 'easy'. LOL
Honestly I usually forget. I didn't forget today (yet) but I often just don't think about it.

I only attempt it during Lent. Doing it all year might be easier to get it ingrained into your system if you are so inclined.

I never understood the meaning of meatless Friday. So many ways around it.
For some of us, it is not a sacrifice, thus making it meaningless.
I converted to Catholicism for Crumpy, and so I could take communion at our wedding. That dietary restriction wasn't part of the deal.

My recollection from catholic grade school is that Jesus fasted for 40 days (Lent). Then was betrayed and crucified. He died on a Friday. In recognition of all that practicing Catholics do not have meat on Friday's during lent.

Thanks but,,,;
Growing up a protestant, I noticed meatless Fridays all year, not just lent. Even school lunch. Did something change?
