I played guitar and sang in a praise and worship contemporary acoustic band at church until last spring. Here's one of the staple songs that we did. We had a song selection of around 70 songs we did.

BTW,
After watching the video, my first act was to play the black keys on my piano.
I usually play this piece in the key of "F" which uses both black and white keys.
Without prejudice or concern for color.
As it should be.
That said, I will try "F#" out of respect for Wintley Phipps and his excellent portrayal of history.

Technically, Hallelujah doesn't qualify as "Gospel."
But, it is so beautiful a piece when done well.
BTW, I have been playing Amazing grace in "F#." Just hammered it out by ear some time ago and didn't realize what key I was in.
