How about refuting it with facts?
I always enjoy Bill Whittle's commentary, but this one is a bit over the top (although "feral communists" is hilarious, IMHO).
As for facts, the "only communist\atheist school in 1950's America" to which Mr. Whittle was referring was Mercer Island PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL. That's right. A public high school. I find it hard to believe that a public high school would be a bastion of communism and atheism in 1956.
Also, it doesn't appear there was a travel ban to Pakistan in 1981, as Mr. Whittle suggests.
That said, "you didn't get there on your own" disturbs me.
This is not a legal case. 205 of what ws presented may be questionable or even beyond belief to many,,,,,However,
There is a lot of good fruit hanging low on that tree. Some bad fruit doesn't poison the whole crop here.
Truth be told, any common search of Barry's past indicates he never worked hard fo much of anything. We cannot see his acedemic records so we must simple assume he did well. After all it was Harvard.
Not much on his voting record state or Federal. Some speeches on the floor about his positions, some of which he has reversed now that he holds the keys.
We can't really see excellence in his professional life anywhere. Hell, he didn't even draft his signiture masterpiece.
No not his auto biography, Obamacare.
So other than fooling all of the people, some of the time, and some of the people all of the time, what great accomplishment has he to his name?
And don't say, Getting elected President. He didn't do that either.....

But it is like I tell my Mom, who sends me 100's of wing nut emails a month, if she is not reasonably sure the emails she sends around are true (almost none of them are) she is lying, and I know I raised her better than that. Ringing true or it being what you want to hear does not make any difference.

I am going out on a limb and mean no disrepect Mak, but i think the part i bolded explains a lot of why you are so quick to jump on a lot of the folks here.
You are trying to compare us that take the time to research things for ourselves to come up with our "own" opinion, to someone thats is very close and personal to you, ( Your Mother with all due respect ) that beleives in the only things She has availabilty to due to todays technology that IMHO you seem to be grouping the rest of us with.
Its just my observation, but i for one dont play the email FW crap, and dont like to be thrown in with those that do no matter who they might be. Sometimes things that happen in our personal life has an effect on how we treat or respond to others in the "internet world" .
I am guilty of the same thing sometimes, which is why i am so voicefull when it comes to the freeloaders living off of the governments teat, and it almost always seems to be taken wrong, but its very personal to me if that makes any sense.

But Cowboy, try to research things somewhere besides the RW bloggers and sites. Like the post about the illegal alien getting a months continuance posted earlier tonight. I googled it and got a bizillon hits saying exactly what grizzer posted. Then out of curiosity I went to a local paper and googled the guys name, which is the only way to find anything like this because of the 1000's of hits you get saying the same thing over and over on all the RW sites. Turns out the guy is a blond hair, blue eyed American con man. The gist of the story and posting just is not true, no fault of the Griz, excepet lack of research.

I agree Mak, and thats why i am very carefull of what sources i get my information from anymore and i never rely on just one as i have done in the past.
But! No matter what internet sites, blogs or what have you, there may be certain interesting opinions, or maybe even facts stated in some cases you wont find in the major media because i think most of us will agree most if not all are so biased its sad. The same goes for government websites where most folks depend on the facts to be true, thats the saddest thing there is IMO.
