Bar soap-body wash/gel or both?

What do you use?

I am nuts about soap, body wash and shower gel.
Almost to the point of being obsessed:yum:
The bathroom is chock full of different products.

This is my current obsession; smells nice and keeps the skin nice and smooth.
Johnson's baby soap and Ivory bar soap are also favourites.

We have friends in the Placerville Herb Society. When they have shows, there are always all kinds of homemade soaps infused with lilac, sage, etc etc. And, there are the others, that have oatmeal and stuff in them. Most work very well. And, most are nice and fragrant to have around the bathroom and stuff.

Otherwise, Ivory bar soap... And, diesel... and 10-40 weight diesel rated oil. :mrgreen:

1..... give you a flaky scalp

2..... swell the pours of your hair up thus choking of the hair THUS.... you lose your HAIR and go BALD!!!!!!!!


Or BOTH!!!!! Jason does not contain that chemical. (its for lather)

Ok. That's the bar soap... Mountain blast scent...

Old Spice "Swagger" Body was also at the moment... that scent changes with my mood... I don't always grab the same scent...:hammer:

Sush, you need good old fashioned home made lye soap. Greatest thing in the world. My grandmother used to make it. I sometimes find it at local craft fairs(I have not talked my Mom in to making any in a long time).

I've gotten similar types of soaps from the Amish, as well as health food stores, and yes.. they are very nice. :)
 
Soap. I don't even know what kind but it's white. Also use Head and Shoulders shampoo & conditioner although I have been known to use that Aussie stuff if I run out. I think you could call my bathroom toiletries ...basic but socially acceptable.
 
Lava soap for my hands when I've been doing manly things, Jergan's medicated bar soap for the rest of me and Head&Shoulders shampoo.
No after shave (normaly), isopropyl alchohol for after shaving face wash.

Keep Noxema, Johnson's Softwash Baby Wash and a jar of Vaseline (ash killer) for the misc. gypsis, tramps and thieves who pass through. Also spare tooth brushs and tooth paste for the same motley bunch.

Life is good.

Not to be a troll here but. I know the above product does not cause a problem for me. But what are other common known ingredients known for allergic reactions. I know some products do cause skin rashes for me but have never figured out what the ingredients are. Is there a common list somewhere a person can access of known allergenic ingredients in soap products?
 
Does a mountain mud pack several times a year with a quick dip into a cold creek to wash it off count PG ? I get that fresh mountain blend of great outdoor fragrances......... .. :mrgreen:

Whatever she buys which is white and does not stink gets used. I am not to picky! She knows what is best for me. :hide: I am well trained but still enjoy the mountain mud pack several times a year after an atv ride just to substantiate the man card ............:mrgreen:
