Whats your weather like right now?

Yesterday we were supposed to get about 0.07 inches of rain. Instead we got over an inch in a few minutes. Couldn't see to the river; it was solid rain.

And it is due to hit here today.

It's been raining since yesterday. Still above freezing but fall is definitely here. We normally get a cool spell just to wake us up and remind us to get ready for winter.

Upper 60's(F) and sunny here. Absolutely beautiful.

Mitty and I were out at the garden and the burn pile. The burn pile (I started on fire Monday morning) was white ash but still smoking as I approached it. Tossed some random twigs and sticks on it and we had flames again. So that pile is still plenty hot. Maybe let it cool off until Saturday before I use the front end loaded to mix the ash and dirt. I don't want to drive into it and have the tractor tires melt.

Lake effect snow all around me, but for a change no snow here.

Temps right at freezing, lots of lake effect flurries, ground is still warm so no accumulation in roads. I’m home from Purdue, snowed most of the way, nothing real to report

Sunny.
Blue Skies.
Mid 20's(F) overnight. Current temp is 30(F). Warming to 45(F) this afternoon.

Today a light plane flipped over at BEH. Don't know if it was arriving or departing. If departing, dumb decision. Wind gusts up to 50mph.
Occupants just got scratched up a bit.

Windy and cool.
I spent all day yesterday cleaning up leaves all over the back yard and front porch.
Today, overnite, Mother nature supplied me with a whole new batch of them.

Windy and cold here.

Shit is blowing everywhere. We had a clock and a thermometer blown off the pillars they were mounted to. Lawn furniture scattered about. The Christmas decorations that were anchored to the ground with 9" ground staples were only saved from exiting the property because of the electrical cords that kept them from blowing over the fence.

We had our first winter storm. Thankfully we only ended up with about 6". I just came in from plowing. This gives me a chance to get my banks started far back in case we get lots of snow this winter. I plan ahead right from the first snowfall on where I'm pushing snow so I don't run out of room by March

Cold and sunny today!
We are on the southern edge of this storm. May get some snow but not the six inches with which we were threatened two days ago.

Now we're under a warning.
I'm working tomorrow night from 10p-6a.
At this moment, I'm hoping everyone shows up.
That likely will not happen.
😵‍💫😭

Cold but clear here. Temps are right about 20(F).

Snow is expected to start falling before dawn. Wild swings in predictions how much or how little we will get. 3" on the low end. 10" on the high end. Alexa just announced that 4.9" of snow is the likely amount for Saturday. The snow is supposed to stop before NOON on Sunday.
