Good eye BC. This pic is from 74. I'd never seen her with that hair style, and that young so I didn't know her.
The pic was taken in July of 74 when she recorded her only number one hit. Can you name that hit?
 
I'm going to go with "Blue Bayou".
I've watched some documentaries. IIRC, she was the main person that launched a little band called... The Eagles. Might have had an influence on Tom Petty as well. Not sure if it was Tom Petty or Linda that had the bigger part in the Eagles launch to success.

I would guess it was Linda. She was with the stone ponies in the 60s.
Tom Petty is younger. Didn’t think he was on the scene when the eagles started in 71

My bad. After further thought, it was Jackson Brown.
That said, Don Felder of the Eagles did help Tom Petty learn how to play the guitar.

I never knew about the Don Felder Tom Petty connection.
I did know Jackson Brown wrote the skeleton for Take it Easy but was stuck and couldn't finish it so he gave it to Felder to see what he might do with it. Take it Easy was their first big hit I believe.
 
This guy recently turned 85. An actor you all know an have seen in a number of shows.
