Top Gear on 60 Minutes

I saw that on 60 minutes also. I had never heard of Top Gear. Now I'll have to hunt down what time it's on so I can catch an episode or three.
 
Top Gear is simply the greatest TV show of all time....small budget and 3 old farts doing what most men could only dream up down the pub and not legally go out and do.

Total mayhem and destruction full of laughing at your mates in pain....what more could you ask for.

In honesty i was put on this Earth to be part of that show.....i am jealous big time.

I have to watch some of this. I get BBC on dish and have seen bits and pieces. Just watching 60 Min last night had me crying. The section about the cars in Alabama was unreal. Funniest thing I have seen in a while!

Honest mate if you enjoyed the small bits you see then watching a full series will have you in tears of laughter...one episode that Doc will love is when they convert 3 cars into boats to cross the English channel to France.....seeing 2 huge outboards fitted to the back of a Toyota truck and taking to the sea is funny as heck.

If life is getting you down then i suggest Top Gear as a much needed medicine.

It is quality family watching time in my house.
 
:yum: Funny Galv. They showed a little of the Toyota truck with the big ass outboard on the back crossing the English Channel. :thumb:

They also said these blokes really don't like each other, but have a ball poking fun at one another on the show. Should be interesting. I'll have to watch it on BBC also. Wish I could see the unedited versions with the anti American stuff left in. I'd rather hear what he really thinks. I can handle it. :yum:

To be honest Doc i do not think he has a dislike for America...he takes the piss out of the UK just as much....in fact i think like most comedians (which he is when on camera)he just picks out certain traits of a culture or nation and plays with it.... the French on the other hand i think he really does have an issue with but i can forgive him for that.:yum::yum::yum:
 
He doesn't think much of German engineering either starting with Porsche to BMW. Love the show myself and catch it mostly on Sundays here. He does however like American muscle cars for just pure brute force.
