Maybe I'm getting too old to "get" the marketing in the commercials but IMHO, most of them sucked pretty bad.

I did think the Jeep, Audi and Prius commercials we're pretty decent. Doritos baby wasn't bad (but wasn't their best). The rest did nothing for me.

The half time... I didn't like it.
 
Half time didn't work for me. Then, I'm not in the optimal demographic.

I was disappointed to see Helen Miren (sp?) instead of the Clydesdales and a puppy.
 
Watched a few commercials and didn't watch the show. No fan of her's but I thought Lady Gaga did an outstanding job on the anthem. I think the amount of glitter on her eyelids was a bit too much.

Halftime show sucked. Beyonce topped it off with her racist Malcom X , black lives matter song. I could not watch. I had recorded the show and paused enough that I had fast forward available to get past that BS.
No commercial really stuck out. dorritos was okay. Others were over the top, like the dad giving his daughters date his car ...but not that funny or entertaining in the end.

The game ...well, I was glad to see Denver win. Even if it was ugly.

I guess I missed it, (well, perhaps I didn't "miss" anything) I watched the first part of the show, and when she came on, I changed to the NFL channel.

actually got a real laugh out of the Steve Harvey commercial, the Heintz hot dog ad was cute too.

the rest of the others sucked.
 
What's a superbowl? A really big bowel of Cheerios?

Can't stand watching organized sports any more.

So much damn money floating around; they "know" which teams will make it to end to maximize profits. Nobody can tell me there is not a Cray and 15 PhD Statisticians sitting in a room crunching numbers. A few bad calls here and there throughout the year and their wish is our command.

Bah-Humbug.

I don't mind watching "professional" sports from time-to-time. I don't watch football every Sunday but will watch some playoffs or maybe some home team games. I do not go to "professional" sports games anymore. Too expensive for my blood.

I do watch and attend "organized" sports. This includes every local high school football game, some youth soccer and other sports. They're "organized" but not "professional". Big difference in my book.

You are right ...you didn't miss anything. Any channel would have been better during that halftime show, well, except maybe MSNBC.

I liked the Honda singing sheep, followed by the wiener dogs.

But, I especially liked seeing Cam Newton taken down a few notches and his true diva self showing through.

I did, then I saw the group photo and I thought for a second there was a lone white face in there ...... looking closer I saw it was the wanna be blonde Beyoncé, with her ever lighter and lighter skin.
She sings a song for the black panthers, Malcom X and black lifes matter but she wants to look white.
But yeah, all black dancers. Racist.
