Romney kangaroo court handed it's head by unemployed Jimmy Carter Grandson

You think he said anything that isn't true or that Obama hasn't been doing for 4 years?

Obama is gonna run this thing out until Libya is forgotten then ram it up Romnet's a** so far it'll never come out.

Romney is gonna be a political history footnote - 2012 keystone cops caricature

The solution is so simple a 4th grader could do it.

OWN IT.

Take that 47% and blow it out:: 40% SS retirees repub voters... etc... show you understand each constituency. Be a president for ALL the people. (my snarky hats off salute to Cutter - OFA chair OP) Use color graphic charts & multimedia to pull in all learner types and ages. See this AM's MSNBC Chuck Todd for an example pictograph. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Daily_Rundown

Obama has a chain & anchor around his neck and should be on his way to Davy Jones locker over Libya terrorism. And Romney s pissing all over hisself...

Couldn't agree more with what you said!

Well, now that Romney finally pointed out the obvious, he might as well run with ... and run with it hard. Use the true facts and figures regarding Obama's entitlement state, along with his failing economic policies, and run with it as a theme.

Obama has 47% - the entitlement vote. Romney has 47% - the meritocracy vote. The very class warfare as initiated by Obama. Wherever the missing 6% votes is how the election will fall.

If the 3 debates follow the message, my bet is that the 6% independent critical thinkers will discard Obama and go with Romney.

.

Yes, Romney pointed out the obvious, at least to this group since that is what you like him want to believe. It makes you all warm inside about your views I guess.

Joec, good article. What it points out , without sayin it, is that many on the left do not vote eagerly and therefore their numbers will have less to do with the outcome this fall. Despite the polling datat.

WHY?

Because all of the polls are weighted to the 2008 election when so many of these "lazy" voters were encouraged to vote. Even the dead ones came out that day to cast ballots for the new age messiah.

Well, for this cycle, the magic is gone, the wind has died and the dream has evaporated into the flames of the middle east and all the empty parking lots around the country.

They aren't coming to the polls unless dragged by their hair.

Some suggest by a margin of 13%. Given the statistical ties throughout the nation, that is no longer a dead heat, or even a close race, but a blowout win for Romney.

I am not predicting that victory but Romney is hardly ready to be salted and put away for burial. It is his election to lose. I think he has the cards but must play them well.

The debates will tell us much. I would suggest Romney is waiting to play his hand much closer to the election day than to do daily battle with a press corps that is humping Obama's leg.

In a time of lies, speaking the truth may be the greatest sin one can commit.

I disagree but we will see come November. I don't see Romney winning enough to win the presidency as it stands now and think it would take some kind of miracle for him to win. But again just my simple minded opinion so you will have to wait also to see the results.

We all will have to wait. No election in recent memory was a slam dunk until the last few weeks. Even the one in 2008. (although many experts will claim different)

I am fairly confidentof one thing this time around. It is Romney's to lose

I will agree it is Romney's to lose, I just think he is done at this point regardless. I don't think he will show much in the debates either nor will Ryan, and that is especially true on the economy or foreign affairs. Again just my opinion on this as regardless of who I vote for Romney will carry Kentucky which on a scale from 1 to 10 rates about a 1.

Either way, the subject of this OP won't matter ahoot. Any more than the Secretary Sabilies scandal.

All diversions from the real issues

Economy and foreign affairs. Barry sucks at both so far.

Now with all due respect Franc since when has a modern election has the real issues been discussed by either side, really. Most vote for those they want to have a beer with. You have a sitting president with a record many think is pretty good though not perfect and an untested challenger that refuses to give his real views to the public but will to his backers, that is if you believe that is even true. All I can say is good luck, but either way neither will really effect much of the next 4 yrs regardless as much of the stuff that matters isn't planned on that effects us.

To the many who think President Obama's record is "pretty Good",I would humbly ask them to expain what are they talking about?

Perhaps we should first agree on the meaning of the word "good."

I find Joec's article very interesting. I think Romneys 47% of freeloders might be on his side.

This morning I noted a very anti Obama post on facebook about Obama replacing the stars with his picture adn talks about Hitler from someone I know very well. In fact I know these people well enough to know a few things about them. She never works and hasnt worked anywhere for more than a few weeks for years. He rarely works, both mainly piddle around playing computer games, of which they own many. Their parents bought them a house and allow them to live there for free. She spends lots of time in local ERs, either seeking attention or drugs, I am not sure which, no insurance and certainly not paying for it. Him and her have not got their stuff together to get a car since his Dad took his back, so they have taken their 17 year old sons car, occassionally allowing him to drive it. Yes, the kid is a bit bitter, but he too thinks everyone owes him, but he works occassionally and will probably graduate high school. Both parents and the youngest kid are huge, not big, but really really overweight. They smoke. I am sure their parents buy their food, but I dont know them that well. And they are really really dont like black people. I really dont understand how the republicans get these people to vote for them in droves, but they do. I wonder why?

I don't see where those folks would vote GOP either. I seriously doubt they represent a significant segment of GOP support.

So then;
What's your point? That all Republicans over indulge their kids and hate blacks?

Or just the ones you seem to know.

From JoeC article:

Mitt Romney asserted that the 47 percent of Americans who had no federal income tax liability would “vote for the president no matter what.”

Actually, a lot them don’t vote, and of those who do, many vote Republican

Well lets use Bush's and Cheney's standard, have we been attacked here in the US so he has kept us safe. He has stopped the bleeding of jobs that we got the last 2 years of the previous administration so the economy is doing better. He got health care through though I would of preferred a different system it is a start. He also did this in 2 years with nothing done since the tea party took over congress. Now if you think Romney will do better with the congress he gets, will I have a some swamp land to sell you in Florida. I'm doing better than I did under Bush which is all I can really go by. Oh and government worker employees are way down since he took office also, so much for his wild spending on making government larger.

Don't worry Mitt, BO is out yucking it up with Letterman tonight, then swooning over Beyonce and JZ and partying it up with some more begging for more money! Keep the faith, Mitt!

Romney needs to get pissed off and get off his ass and run an ad with a split screen....one side with Obama partying it up and laughing with his friends in Hollywood while the other side showing our embassies being attacked, our citizens killed and our flag burning with the simple caption "Do we really want 4 more years???"

He's got to get down and dirty like he did during the primary.

I don't understand why he won't wake up and smell the coffee...he has to defeat Obama and the MSM.

Yeeeuuuppp for the single reason leadership carries R candidates across the finish line - across the country. Lots of Senate and ALL Rep seats are on the line + state & local races.

I should have bet the farm you would go for the Bush/Ceney comparison. i thought we were goiing to define "good?"

That's the best you can do?
By now you should know I was unhappy with GW Bush's expansion of our government. Why would I consider that a good thing?

If you have to compare to former Presidents, try Reagan or Clinton.

But really, what I asked for was examples of what Obama has done that meets the level of "Good." What you presented was a pettifog of Bush Cheney.

Is the anointed one's resume' really that bare? Or has Bush rented that much space in your mind?

I give will you a clue Mama why he doesn't. First Obama has been and can be nastier than he dreamed of being, just ask Hilary. Obama also has a knack for making it not only is opponent look bad but almost completely crushing them. Romney only cares about himself and little else. He will say and do anything regardless to get elected except fight for a belief since he really has none. Just look at some of the comments he made running against Kennedy for the Senate when he tried that.

I said nothing about their expansion of government just their standard of keep the US safe. I define good as attempting to do what you say within your powers which he attempted however even the congress of his party didn't give it all to him. To me the attempt also gets points as he did try. However once you realize it won't happen it is time to move on, kind of like trying to talk you into not voting for the empty suit I know you will vote for.

Do you believe that Obama cares about anyone other than himself? He has got a HUGE ego that won't let him admit that he is in over his head.

Do I really need to point out some of the lies that Obama has told....not just against Romney but Hillary too?

Just look at some of the comments he made running against Kennedy for the Senate when he tried that.

That was almost 20 years ago. I doubt any of us are the same person we were 20 years ago so in my opinion, that's really irrelevant.

There is PLENTY of dirt that he could bring out about Obama.

Bush doubled the size of our government in just eight years. And you didn't know that? I don't know if I should be dissapointed, surprised, or impressed by that.

Presidents don't get re-elected because they TRY. Americans deserve much better than that.

We need presidents who DO.

Apparently Barry hasn't done anything Good, that is remarkable. I have asked you for the last three posts and you have listed nothing.:whistling:

First off Mama what person has ever been elected to the Presidency that didn't have a huge ego.

Lies? What lies did he say, he told us what he wanted but most seemed to not listen and put their beliefs that they wanted on him. Now with that said a president hasn't got the the powers of a dictator as he is bound by the the rules as they exist in the constitution. As for lies on Romney and Hillary where they really lies or based if fact?

Yes that is true however, however that hits as a double standard to me also since you hold Obama up based on things from years before in his past like they happened yesterday.

There is PLENTY of dirt that he could bring out about Obama.

Please, such as what? Now in spite of what most think here I didn't vote for him nor do I like everything he has done however facts are facts he has played the hand he was dealt and played it about as well as anyone would have. Just think about McCain over the last 3 1/2 years would he have been better or would we be worse?

I am aware of the fact Bush ran our budget and doubled the size of government. I'm also aware that under the current administration government has been cut by a large amount and soon to be cut by more regardless of which side wins in November. So now I said I will hold Obama to the previous administrations standard and we are safe nothing more nothing less so please stop trying to make me look stupid as I know what I wrote also.

Where do I start?

Obama said:
I am told that Governor Romney’s new running mate, Paul Ryan, might be around Iowa the next few days,” he said while in Council Bluffs, Iowa. “He is one of the leaders of Congress standing in the way. So if you happen to see Congressman Ryan, tell him how important this farm bill is to Iowa and our rural communities.
Ryan was announced as Romney's running mate on August 12th. The House passed the bill on August 2, 2012 and Ryan voted yes

Obama said:
The American automobile industry has come roaring back…So now I want to say what we did with the auto industry, we can do it in manufacturing across America. Let’s make sure advanced, high-tech manufacturing jobs take root here, not in China. And that means supporting investment here. Governor Romney … invested in companies that were called ‘pioneers’ of outsourcing. I don’t want to outsource. I want to insource.
"To be exact: GM’s 2011 Annual Report shows General Motors of North America accounting for 98,000 of the 207,000 GM jobs worldwide. But 12,000 of these jobs are in Canada and 11,500 are in Mexico. Accordingly, GM has 74,500 jobs in the United States and 122,500 abroad, even after Obama’s touted surge in Detroit jobs. Almost two thirds of GM’s jobs are in other countries.
GM’s outsourcing is not a slip. GM clearly states that foreign investment and outsourcing of jobs are an integral parts of its growth strategy."
