Hey, he's soooo cool, maybe he'll do a followup by dropping his privates in the trap! :yum:

Don't get all PETA on me, but I used to trap back in high school. I still have a bunch of them now but I don't use them. It paid better than my paper route! Anyway, the moron used what appears to be a Jim River #15 trap based on it's size and 'teeth'. Yeah, that's a badass trap, but not close to what the "real" bear traps are. The same company, Jim River, makes a #6 bear trap that would have most likely have broken both bones in his arm. He clearly went for a bit of show with the teeth and a likely puncture wound rather than two broken bones in his arm. Here's a link to the trap I'm talking about (and, no, I don't own one) wicked bear trap. Better yet, for his follow up, he can step in a #6.

A friend of mine owns the U.S. Fish and Wildlife building in Anchorage. He use to have a really big bear trap set in the open position in front of his desk in his office in the building. It was welded open so it wouldn't trip, but people would come in and bounce on the springs.

Finely after about ten years, the new F&G head guy came down and asked him to remove it because it wasn't politically correct to have something like that in the Federal F&G building...

But there was no sign saying it was dangerous or not, but idiots would also come in for the first time and step in the middle of it.... Just not a bunch of bright light bulbs in that group at times.
