I remember back in the early 1080's Crumpy and I went to the local Drive-in during what was the last season before it closed. We were in My classic 1957 Ford T-bird with the top off. No backseat.
A young comely lass walked up from behind and began rubbing the back of my neck. She leaned down and whispered, " I love your car mister."
Crumpy murmured something like "Will I never," To which I said "No worries dear, she just likes the car,"
Her response chilled me to the bone. "We are selling the car!"
And that was that!
