I remember the commercials for this car from 20+ years ago. I fell in love but no way I could get one. I've been looking at them on marketplace for a while now and finally found one that was well taken care of and I could afford. Wife kept saying we don't need another car. She was right, but I wanted this baby. Sure didn't need it, but I wanted it bad enough to make it happen.

I've had it a couple weeks now (thought I had posted here about it but oops, I didn't) ... Had to drive 5 hours to Michigan to look at it. I liked it and I brought it home. I love love love driving it. A truly fun car. 20 years old but it does not show the years. And wife likes it too. :D

I love driving this car. It is not in the same league as the BMW Z3 that I had a few years ago. It is more of a luxury sports car. It has a small V8 so it will get up and go but not as fast as the BMW. Just comfortable and smooth. Just the kind of sports car this ole guy wants.

Convertibles are loads of fun.

Enjoy the heck out of it.

We have had, at least 1, for most of the 40 years of our marriage. Currently the lovely Mrs_Bob has a little Audi convertible. I had one of the rare Avanti convertibles for many years, a Volvo, a Jeepster Deluxe and something else that I don't recall.

Whilst engaged, Crumpy made me trade my '60 Impala convertible for a newer car. Apparently, she became tired of pushing the Chevy to get it started. I insisted on a convertible (yeah right, I begged) and ended up with a 65 Plymouth Fry III Convertible. Great car.
The trend has continued. So, for most of our marriage, I have had a soft top vehicle in the fleet.
They are fun but hardly practical.
