In the hospital again

Once she does get home today, you take real good care of her. ;)
Is there going to be another family member coming in to help out?

I will. Yes, her mom and a friend of hers, and there will be visiting nurses I believe. Her mom will be there almost 24/7 with me working days and nights now.

Hang in there, Rusty. Although it sounds trite these things will make your bond with Lith much stronger, and will make the good times that are to come all that much better. I know; Dragonfly Lady and I have been there.

I hope she makes it through this ok. My SIL had a fall on the ice a while back and hit her head. She ended up with constant headaches for months following as well as dizzy spells much like what you're describing. Point is that this may not go away overnight once she's home. Keep a close eye out for constant sleeping and tiredness. I'll be thinking of you guys.

prayers for both of you Rusty.
best of luck to Lith - buddy of mine got tossed by a horse earlier this summer and is finally off crutches after 6 weeks - but he's also 50 and doesn't heal as fast as Lith should. :)

You won't be visiting her tonight with all the roads flooded. She is safe where she is and you need to get some rest.

Youa re damn right I would. I came home, took a shower, and went over to the hospital and hung out with her untill 8. I'm not gonna let her sit there alone. She does seem to be in good spirits, though. Tonight was the first time I saw her have the TV on in the room. We sat and watch Wheel, and Jeopardy just like if we were home. It was nice.

Give her this from all of us!:flowers:

Staying in again tonight. I guess one more sleepless night probably wont kill me.
Don't know why yet.
No it won't.
All the best for Lith Rusty.
You said earlier today that she was having bouts of dizziness.
I hope they'll be addressing that.
Just be with her, that's all that matters right now.
Love you both.

Thanks, PG, and Lobo. It's tough. I think she is having probelsm with the nurses, (which is nothing new,) as they do not give a shit really. Just there for the paycheck. What kind of fucking nurse is that?!

Oh sorry, I read back on the thread Rusty, and I thought you were spending the night at the hospital with her, and posting here from your phone or something.
Not all nurses are like that Rusty, most of us do give a shit.
If she or you are having problems with any of them, let them know!

I know this, PG. She has some great nurses, too. But York Hospital seems to have alot of them who seem to have a problem with checking on patients. That, and half of the time, she doesn't get what she ordered for lunch, or not all of it, or nothing because they forgot. THEY. FORGOT. I know this sin't a nurse issue, but FFS!

Let me guess;
Some are too busy at the desk, laughing and talking.
Some whisper 'god damn' when a call light goes off.
They'll do their hourly rounding, but some will get there when they get there.
What she orders for meals/forgotten meals is an issue for the nutrition department, but if she throws the tray on the floor and screams loud enough, I am sure a nurse will come running and deal with it for her. lol

They don't show it on the county site. I see where Memorial has their parking lots flooded as well as market street under I-83. It is going to get worse as the day goes on.

Home and sitting somewhat comfortably on the couch. Was supposed to have a friend bring her spagetti for dinner, but she never showed up, (doesn't seem like her, so I hope everything is OK on her end,) so I stopped at Sal's on the way home and got her some of her favorite spagetti and garlic bread. I ordered the kids meal size, because I didn't think she would be eating a whole lot, and Sal gave me a full size for the kid's price. Like I said, he takes care of me  He knew it was for her, and what she's been going through.

Thanks for the good news, Mr. Shackleford. And no thanks for making me crave spaghetti and garlic bread.
