I can't find the delete url

Well Mr cranium generally when I Make a mistake when writing a letter I just scribble over it with the black crayon. But when I post something dumb on the puter I just try to delete it by cliking on the embarrassing post and when I access one of my own posts there is a delete ural somewhere near the bottom of the page that will delete the offensive post! Earlier I posted a thing about listening to the La Raza immigration's conference call which was supposed to be about immigration groups planning tactics for getting Amnesty for illegals but just as I was posting the post I realised it was for yesterday but when I reopened the post I could not locate the delete so I just punched edit and backspaced thru the post erasing it kind of but when I punched submit on the blank post it said "Post must be at least 2 characters" so I typed nuthin here hoping some moderator would delete it since I didn't know how. Sorry if I caused confusion...... Dennis Merrick is my real name in case you want to chew me out or give me Oh Shit points! If you are a moderator please delete the whole thread.

Hang on there... I wasn't trying to start anything.
If at any time you have an issue like this, you can click on the "Report Post" which gives you a window to enter a message to the moderators. You could just say you want it deleted.

PG's method works for posts ...however on new threads you do not have that option. That is why you could not delete ..but you fixed the text which accomplished your purpose. I'l see if I can find the setting and allow you to delete new threads for up to 50 minutes after you post it ...that's how long you have to edit any post. After that just post a follow up post, or report the post like BC said.
If you just scribble over it with black crayon that would probably work.
