Next year she gets new Vinyl siding, windows and a metel roof plus a "real" garage / workshop in the back. Im also going to build mud rooms (snow rooms) for the front and back door areas. BobP has dibbs on the Circus tent!
 
Per the Gistapo rules and regulations listed under section 8 page 3-415 paragraph 2-G of book 5 you are not allowed to have any satelite dishes exposed in anyway that can bee seen from any point of the front street, any nieghbors windows or from any low passing aircraft.:yum:

In NM, anything green IS considered a weed! :pirate: A few years ago in ABQ a homeowner was being sued by his HOA for not keeping up his grass during a drought at the same time the city was fining him for watering! :yum: He tried to switch to xeriscaping (like my yard), but his HOA didn't allow that!

And SnoOps is right. The CC&Rs and the gestapo monitoring them around here are brutal! :pat: I am not allowed to have an antenna extending above the roof. The dish is mounted on the wall just below the eave and I still get little nazis trying to tell me I'm in violation.

All of you little HOA wackos suck. Keep your damned noses out of my yard and it won't get bit off, ok?!

OH crap I was just joking!

I once had a satelite dish on my balcony. I was told it had to go on the roof out of site (Condos in Reno NV) Instead I took it down and mounted it on my fence in the front yard but painted it with a base coat of light green (same as tree leaves hanging down to fence level) I then removed some branches with leaves on them. I then laid the branches over the dish and sprayed the dish in brown (to match the fence and walls). What was left was a perfect camoflauged satelite dish that was right in plain sight but never seen! Bob you should spray your dish the same color as your house. they will never see it then. Of course I might be inclined to mount a 5' diameter dish on the roof instead! How about a flag pole?:yum:
 
In my younger days I owned a condo near the beach north of San Diego. I was fined for not having my hose coiled up next to my walkway. They also warned me for taking a glass next to the hot tub. When I pointed out that my beer was in a large plastic cup, they later banned bringing those into the pool area.:finger2:
