No and honestly I would not want one because I would be very frightened.
And I cannot imagine how scary that would be.
And that is why you do not walk at night and stay safe.
Since you live down under I can understand that. Only Police or military are permitted to have firearms, right?

Yes but other people do, we just have licences.
I know people who do have guns here.
However it is your business why people have guns there, it is your business not mine.

I would be frightened that I would die and it is scary.
Would you die because you shot yourself?

The real question asked was about a criminal with a gun pointing the gun at you.

So how would your gun hurt you?

I was out with my 4 year old foster son today. Carrying a gun + an extra 13 round magazine, just in case. Never felt that I needed it, was not really in any area where I would expect problems. But just like I carry a wallet and keys, I also carry a gun. And obviously I never felt that the gun was going to jump out of its holster, all by itself, and threaten to kill me.

Yes, while in the military (Marines) and a comrade of mine noticed it shooting him dead 10 feet away. Knew I should of not stayed up being a target
