Oh ya, this stuff is good.

Having a "Polish" breakfsat which includes a veal hot dog, smothered in horseradish. This extra hot stuff goes right to the front of your head and burns! I love it.
 
I like that type of horseradish also .....never tried it for breakfast though. :eek:

Is this a brand that can be found in most grocery stores?
 
I've never sen it in a regular grocery store. We bought it at a Polish Deli. I'm sure some of the larger stores with ethnic food sections should have it. Don't buy the creamy type.

The label states it is extra hot. And it is.
 
I love the heat, but somehow can't aquire a taste for the flavor that accompanies it with horseradish. What does this one taste like?
 
Definately hot horseradish taste. It is not like pepper heat. It is hard to describe, but the heat goes right to the front of your head, above the eyes, and when it really hits you right, kinda makes you wince and blink your eyes.
 
We have a place called the 'House of Wine' that has boat docks so that boaters can stop in. When we go there we always get the cheese plate. It comes with a golden mustard that is so hot, but so very good. Awesome stuff. I think it has horseradish mixed with it but I'm not sure of that.
I really enjoy that stuff where Dave's Insanity Sauce is hot for hot's sake. Maybe if it was mixed with something but otherwise I see no reason for that kind of hot. :confused:

Now THAT is a great breakfast! I love horseradish!!! :coolshade Its like an abusive sexy girlfriend that just comes over for sex :thumb:
 
I have to agree with Spiffy & doc here -- horseradish tastes nasty, and it has nothing to do with the heat, and Dave's insanity sauce is vile. I bought sa jar once and never did figure out something to mix it with that would mask the flavor. (heat doesn't bother me - I used to drink habanero vodka - after about the 3rd drink, all you taste is the sweetness of the pepper)
