1950 brochure value?

This is the second brochure I’ve seen come across eBay in the last couple of weeks. The last one went for $87 and this on is at $107 with an hour to go. I get it that they are vintage original - but do they always sell for this kinda money?

Honestly that seems a bit steep at $107 but yes, unfortunately some of the original brochures do sell for more than seems logical. I have a bunch of original Snow Trac brochures and there is no way in hell the Russians, Chinese or North Koreans could torture me enough to tell my wife what I paid for some of them.

Lots of cool stuff on that one. A pair of earlier 424's hauling gear, but they aren't listed for sale on the brochure line-up. It shows the start of the transition from stainless pontoons to the stamped ones. It has 3 Mercury 423's shown, but the Mercury's were done in '48 (???). The 743 predecessor 643. Full price listing. Cool stuff! ($204 is still high for me, but I'm cheep like that!)

Here’s the other side of the brochure. It’s pretty cool. The ad talked about the handwritten pricing for all the different models. I’m curious what you guys think about the prices - for 1950 they seem extremely high! Knowing that 1964 corvettes were about $4-4300 brand new.

The 1946 424's pictured are two of the four made. Rumor has it that both are still alive.

Merc. powered 423's, three built in'47, eight in '48.

As for prices RRose, when you are the only girl in town----. Also lots of hours to weld tracks when all done by hand. No MIGs. Much welding oxy-acetylene.

why yes, norcal, it is the very same machine...matter of fact, several machines that are in the this brochure, still exist to this very day.
