After 74 years still working on it. I have had 5 careers, photography,2 retail stores, insurance, psychology , and Senior head soccer coach. I have published papers on preverbal trauma in adoption and I am read worldwide. I developed therapeutic interventions that target infant emotional trauma. I have published on book. I believe 100% in the afterlife and have had experiences with it. Life is amazing.

Good intro. Nice to meet you. Is your avatar a shot you used on the back of one of your book covers?

I noticed you were in Nam. I have dear friend a foster child like me who survived Hamburger Hill. He is an Army Ranger.
Wow. What a nightmare that must have been. I was Navy, on an ammunition ship feeding ammo to the ships off the coast. We went into Hai Pong harbor when it was mined. Scary stuff, but nothing compared to the Army and Marine vets who had to carry guns, crawl through the muck and swamps of Vietnam. I salute every one of them. Their mission was so much tougher than mine.

He talks to me about it as a friend and trauma therapist Im a good listener. Its hard to imagine. He suffers from agent orange exposure. I was 263 in the draft lottery. I admire him.

Good for you helping him as you can. I was number 40 in the very last draft lotto. I was not doing great in college, partying not studying enough so I opted to join the Navy before they drafted me. Turned out to be a very good move for me in the long run. My ship was also exposed to agent orange. Myself and most of my shipmates have some symptoms of that BS.

I dropped out of college at 18 went from 2s to 1A. I could have avoided the draft as sole surviving son. I dont think I would have done that. Went back to college at 40 and 50.
