Where would you go on vacation?

We're heading out July 8th for 3 weeks hauling to fifth wheel camper to Fort st John British Columbia. We'll be spending a few days in Drumheller Alberta.

Took the kids to Drumheller a couple years ago, really neat place to see. If you have time there's an old mining town close by that has an old restaurant, that was a pretty neat place to visit and eat at. Take lots of money, nothing is cheap there! Lol
If you're taking the transcanada through Manitoba you'll be about an hour south of me when you go through Brandon.

Oh and take good shoes if you plan on climbing the Hoodoos, I seen people climbing them in sandals and flip flops, one guy was about 300 pounds coming down in sandals and was half out of control, not sure how many people get hurt there in a year, but it would be people like him.

Thanks for the advice. We're actually planning on boondocking at the Brandon Walmart on the second night. Yes, we're going in style. 😎 Saving money along the way. First night is at her parents place.

I totally get where you're all coming from. Long-haul flights are just exhausting — anything over 10 hours and I start questioning my life choices midair! Dubai sounds fascinating, but yeah, with the current restrictions and the heat, it might not be the most relaxing choice right now. Honestly, I've been leaning toward something closer to home too — maybe a scenic road trip through the Pacific Northwest or a few quiet days in the Smoky Mountains. A comfortable drive, cool weather, and no jet lag sounds just right these days.
