Where to get a passport?

Deadly Sushi

The One, The Only, Sushi
I was told via the postal office that a passport cost $115!!!! What the hell!!??? I thought they were about $10 or $20. Is there another place I can get one for cheap? :bonk:

No, your passport picture will be about $10 but the passport itself is around $100 unless you pay for rush service, then it could be upward of $200. Darn government... :puke1:

Yup.. what she said sushi.. which reminds me.. i need to renew mine before it is expired TOO long...

You could get one that says you name is "Bond, James", but it will cost a hell of a lot more than $110.

What irks me is having to send it in and be without one for 6-8 weeks !!!

Can't even go to Canada which isn't very far away.

You can travel to Canada by ground without a passport if you have a birth .certificate and another picture ID, such as a drivers license.

Beginning January 31, 2008, U.S. and Canadian citizens 19 years and older who enter the U.S. at land and sea ports of entry from within the Western Hemisphere will need to present government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license as proof of identity, along with proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate or naturalization certificate, or a passport. Children age 18 and under will be able to enter with proof of citizenship. Verbal claims of citizenship and identity alone will not be sufficient to establish identity and citizenship for entry into the United States
