Westy is Stirring the Pot Again

Well he already has a supporter in TexMex. Got to figure that the rabid Kioti pack hasn't seen that thread yet.

Honestly I don't think so. At least via regular email he told me he is not posting under any name other than his own. Seems that he likes to take credit for the turmoil he creates :eek:

So I tend to think that Westy is a real guy who is really shopping and really goes by the name Westy.
 
I like when he starts off by " This is my third attempt at starting a thread.".

I wonder how many times it takes for the mods to remove threads?
 
What ever happened to open dialog over there? I got banned and all I did was to invite people to join the forums. I have never posted the kind of hate that some of them have and I have always posted factually, and I never started the type of descension that is being done by the Kioti people. I am beginning to think that the site is trying to get Kioti as a sponsor and that is why they allow all this turmoil in posting. TBN doesn't want to loose any more members than they already have. In the Expectation of Privacy thread, I was told that if I wanted to discuss the topics that were not allowed on TBN that I should start my own forum. When I took that advise I was banned. I didn't even get the courtesy of a email from them.
 
My last post got deleted by BIRD. Might find it entertaining.

I am glad you found a machine which YOU like and works BEST FOR YOU. Just as as I glad that westy has done his best and making decision based on the amount of effort he wanted to put into it. Spending the time to convince himself that what appears to him was an ugly ducking, may really be swan was not in his interest. For whatever reason that may be. Accept it. Refer back to my statements about my mobile home experience.


Why do you insist on ATTEMPTING to put other people down for there buying decisions based on THEIR needs whats best for THEM and the decisions they have made? Just leave it alone.. they are not you.

It would be much better and less insulting if you just go find other people that have the same needs and passion of your tractor as you and have a get together. Have a few cold ones, a tactor pull maybe, and talk about how much you love your machine and how good of a fit it is for you. How much money people are throwing away on every other tractor out there.

btw, I am in agreement with you regarding the STANDARD loader controls on the Kubota. I had the same concern and as a result, my dealer updated the loader controls to the optional fender mount controller for no extra change. Something to be said for the importance of picking the right dealer.
 
My attempts at sarcastic humor at a friends expense are obviously not obvious. Dargo I meant no harm and I think you know that. Looking forward to having a sit down and a brew with ya'll. You'd appreciate the smile on my face when I post such.

I encourage you to read what he said again, in the context that westy already said he made a decison and has already bought a Massey.

If you folllow the thread, you will see that this certain person's posting made was not a logical response to anything westy or anyone had said prior. Instead, it is out of the blue, relating to nothing, and was carefully designed to show disproval and put down many brands including Massey, and to insult westly decision to buy Massey and that he should buy Kioti instead.

My response was perhaps too direct but I think it was being productive in the large picture. I don't know if you have noticed but you have a problem on TBN with a good number of Kioti owners. Not all, just the ones which are overly passionate. There are some Kioti owners which are ashamed by this behavior and want no part of it.

I for one have noticed that a lot of long time member have been put off by this behavior an no longer frequent TBN. This is a huge loss for all on TBN. But yet the moderators seem helpless in knowing what action to take to prevent this problem.

I suppose you wont le this post stand either and you don't know to to respond to the problem. Other then prehaps deleting peoples recommends and banning people which suggest to Kioti owner that they should back off and not offend others for the decisions that they have already made.

The problem with Kioti By Net is that unless you are the norm there, you are “out on a limb”. The place is run by mods the do as they see fit; even the site owner does not even step in. The problem with some is that if you fart just right they will moan to the mods.

Come... on.. they are not bad tractors. They just need to work on their image a bit more. Like Hyundai has been doing over the years. It seems that a few years ago, Hyundai was not even the same class as Honda, Toyota, and Nissan and was seen as not such a great manufacturer. Today, that statement is being elimated.

OA, I had read the single post, was responding while other were posting, sent my post, and then read Westy had purchased a tractor. I also read your post before deletion. I even email another tractor buddy to review, and told him I was getting a top shelf reaming. Didn't know I rattled your cage that much. You must be a very sensitive guy. I don't feel I'm guilty with what you are charging me with, but to each his own. Take care, and I'm glad your triple wide is working for you also.

I guess you agree me with how the majority of people look at things like mobile homes and lesser popular tractors. As I think you are trying to make fun of me and insult me with your triple wide comment.

However, If you actually read my post completely you would see that I ended up building a stick home for this very reason you are attempting to make fun of me about.

You don't see me making fun of your Kiot tractori, do you? which is equivelent in resale risk to a manufactured home in many people's minds?


Perhaps I was too hard on you, I guess I was reacting from all the passionate Kioti abuse from another Kioti member yesterday.

If you did not intend to insult, westy and make him feel bad about his puchase, then I am very sorry. I guess I read into it a bit more then I normally would. The passionate illogical attacks I received yesterday, really surprised me.

I should probably not have taken my experience with a few bad apples and extended it onto you. I am sorry for pre-judging you. I guess you see my point why some Kioti owners on TBN are asshamed by actions of passionate Kioti owners on TBN. People start pre-judging them based on other peoples actions.

You seem to be an reasonable person and want to keep order.

However, can you explain why you deleted wesly simple question just a few minutes ago?

He was only asking what happened to all the posts that got deleted and why? I don't see why this question can not be answered. I don't think it was offense.. he was just curious.

Anytime you mention TBN, all your doing is giving them "validation".

This forum/forums seems to be pretty cool, new... but information exchanged in a "friendly" way.

Say someone new comes here, not from TBN. If everyone here talks about whats going on at TBN, the "new" people that visit here or "sign on" here may wonder whats going on over there (TBN) and why is it worth bringing up (TBN).

Please don't take this the wrong way, but everytime someone here mentions whats going on over at TBN, it seems like I'm in grade school talking about "some one else".

All right. I'm an asshole, I admit it and I'm not no troll. Just seems like a good group of guys here and I don't want to hear about TBN here!
