whats wrong with reading both web sites? Seems to be in-line with the foundation of this web site. openness, choice without censorship.

TBN seems to be dictatorship.. you really think people will leave this forum and read TBN exclusively because we talk about it?

I dont see it happening.

See thread by "working woman" asking what is up with Kioti. She'd never heard of TBN except here. She went over there and got an eye full of unabashed Kioti hate rhetoric there. That is the impression people are getting who visit TBN now. There is a certain group that has taken over the place there and :toilet: it has gone.
 
O.K., I'm going to post my opinion here and I invite any and all of you to disagree with me. I came over to this forum to be able to speak my mind, make jokes, and have a good time without worrying about being deleted, banned, or attacked. I am posting my opinion here on this forum so that all the members as well as guests from TBN (moderators and owners too) can see it.

While I think that what is happening on TBN with the deleting, political correctness, and loss of long time members really sucks, I don't think that deliberately trying to piss people off over there will accomplish anything constructive. I am not accusing anyone specifically here, but some people here are (justifiably) upset with the state of affairs there and are more likely to vent and inevitably get deleated. I would like to think that we are above that here. I would be the first one to point to threads at TBN and call a A-hole an A-hole over here, but to do that over there is futile.

I know that I have rambled a bit here, but I hope I got my point across. Just my opinion.

P.S. Don't get me wrong, I have a long history of pulling practical jokes, everything from setting the urinals to explode in high school to putting dog crap in someones bunker boots. :moon: :toilet:

:fart2: Oops. I think think most people have now tired of even checking KBN so the "guilt by association" with Kioti will fade. We know it's the attitude of "those" people who took over the other site who have caused the ill will.

Call me cheap, but I just may someday do a TexMex and buy an inexpensive Tractor King to leave up at a couple hundred acres I have that is almost an hour away from where I live. I intend on building a cabin there and I don't intend on having to trailer my tractor back and forth each trip. Hmm, there again, I am sort of partial to my cab. :) Good thing for me, the budget priced Tractor Kings now also have cab models. :D

Here is how you got attacked. You were open to different type of tractors and as a result decided to give Kioti a shot. This is great to see you had an open mind.

You heard a dealer talking about Kioti which sounded questionable. You decided to do some research of your own asked if the Dealer statements where true and unfortunately you offended one of those emmotional/proud Kioti owners.

Someone else came in and said Kioti was the same tractor as a much higher priced John Deere, Kubota, New Holland just less money.

When I disagreed on the price difference and said, the tractors are not equivelent and that there are difference for the price difference and to make sure you are comparing them to the RIGHT big 3 models.

I have never said anything negative about Kioti. Well I got attacked too and accused of being loyal to only Kubota without actually reading what I said in the rest of my thread and why I did not consider the CK30 OR a Kubota L2800. and when with a more expensive class of machine. I got accused of being a nit picker and that I really did not need to get the tractor that I got over a CK30. Recall that statement about a significant difference in loader capabilities not making a tractor. I know.. it sounded crazy to me too.

You opened the door for Kioti, then you closed it yourself today (for whatever reason) and as a result, you got put down on your Massey because you got it and turned it down Kioti. You bought it and people continued to come after you, implying that you made the wrong decission saying that their experiece with Massey was not all that great... and implying that they were just a name and are not longer the Massey of years gone by.. When I told one of the offenders to back off of you and go talk Kioti shop somewhere, Bird, the TBN moderator, did not like that and deleted a whole bunch of posts. I didn't think the censorship was just and my pleading my case for disapproval got deleted too.

Its too bad this is going on.. This type of behavior does not help anyone. Not TBN and Not existing Kioti fans as it turns people off the brand and this web site. Who wants to be associated with emmotional fanatics and censorship? I am not saying all Kioti fans are emmotional.. only a few percent is all it takes.
