U.S. Map

Durwood RIP

Gone But Not Forgotten
Got this in an e mail.

First of all, this is a United States puzzle map. But I'm here to tell you that this isn't easy, unless you cheat. And cheatin' is not allowed. The
goal is to put the puzzle together by moving the pieces for a complete map of the United States without first looking at a real map. So give it your best shot. Can you do it?

Great puzzle. I finally did it, but it took me a little longer because I didn't read the instructions, and started with Florida. Should have started with the states around the great lakes.

I basically got them all in the first try... a few pieces looked enough alike that I grabbed the wrong one the first time... I knew which one needed to go there though...

Got every single one on the first try.

I must have gotten Obama's version, kept having seven states left over....:yum:

And this guy is now our "President Elect"... Fact is he isn't until the electorial college meets later this December and votes him in, then he is the "President Elect", but when we have 57 States by his counting, who cares... Duba wasn't nearly that dense....

I dropped all of the states into the correct spots, except for the last two "little pieces." I thought they were poor shapes, so I moved them around in the general area of the missing states until they clicked.

The kids maps with the outline behind where they go are a lot easier.

Start out at the Great Lakes, then go west, south and then east and finally north.
