To all the service Men and Women from all around the world that are trying their damn hardest to keep us all safe from the scum that try and put fear in to our daily lives.

Today a unit of dedicated Soldiers put their lives on the line to help humanity take a step closer to peace in this world we live and i am truly grateful,yes the war is far from over but their bravery and commitment is heartfelt and i thank you all.

I shall honour your service by educating my children on the sacrifices you have made.....Thank you for giving future hope to me and my family.
 
We must never lose sight of the mission these soldiers accomplished. Along with all those who have and are still serving to allow us our freedoms and not be bowed to the muslim scum.
 
Why just soldiers? How bout Sailors, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard?

OK dipshit, I did not even pay attention to who said it. I apoligized when realized you probably were serious. My only mistake. Seals are not in the Army. Just sayin. You are a dick sober or drunk. FO.

I for one didn't understand that a single ellipsis was shorthand for "I'm sorry." Perhaps others here didn't as well.

And there are a wealth of good people who do not know that SEALS are Navy, since they dress and act like Marines or Rangers. And on behalf of all those who were not aware of that subtle (to non-military folks) distinction I apologize if you were offended.

Now, on behalf of only one retired sea service vet (Navy and Coast Guard) let me say that your post was childish, peevish and beneath the dignity of a grownup. It makes clear that you are not yet adult enough to allow someone a trifling error while expressing great admiration and respect for all who serve. Your rancor over this minor point goes far to define you.
