Gone But Not Forgotten
A guy driving down the road figures out someone is following him and decides to call 911. Yep turns out someone was following him, it was the Owner of the gas station he just stole $83.00 from and drove off.

How stupid can you get, steal $83.00 dollars of gas and then call the police and tell them where you are?

This happened here in our local town today.
 
Tonight we got a call from a lady who found a stray cat three miles up the road.

She wanted to know if we would bring the spay and rabies shot to her (for the cat), or if she had to come to us. I'm dead serious.

If you could listen to some of the phone calls we get for the humane society, you would be amazed. I'm certain some animals are smarter than people.

When I owned my business, the business phone was answered anytime it rang before or after hours if someone was able too. If no one could answer, it went to a recording and the message was returned asap without regard to our business operating hours. It also rang at my home after hours. That may of been a major reason of our phenomenal business growth rate and ability to dominate the market. Yes, I often spent very long hours, days and nights working with my customers to solve problems. Now I am retired and don't worry about it. The years working hard to make it easy for my customers to do business with me made my retirement happen sooner and with more wealth. I lived by the adage that the customer was always right until proven wrong beyond a reasonable doubt..... and it paid great dividends.

Business wealth comes to those that work for it and not those that wait for it!!
 
When I open the doors there are people waiting for haircuts, and I start right away.
I know what your saying about your own business, because I used to have my own. I was there night until late and on weekends. I worked a lot harder for myself than the other guy. But two kids later and my priorities changed.
 
I know someone who drove off on accident once after filling their pickup with diesel. They both went in an went to the restroom and both thought the other one paid. IIRC they figured out the mistake minutes before getting pulled over. They were in a 1 ton with a giant horse trailer so it was fairly obvious they would not have been expecting a clean get away. I think they gave the money to the trooper and he took it back for them so they did not have to get the trailer turned around.
