First off, it is a problem with enforcement. No one is getting ticketed for it.
Second off, it is just another example of the lack of concern for others that is running rampant on the road today.
While this annoys me, there are some companion behaviors that really get me going.
"Driving by the buddy system" - Two lane road, two vehicles side by side, both at or below the speed limit, maybe just above it. This is especially not fun when the vehicles are semi's.
"The blind spot hangers" - They come up behind you while you are in the right lane. get their hood just by your left rear tire and stay there.
Of course none of them are getting pulled over by the cop talking on his cell phone while cruising.

I don't think the PA cars came with that option.
Speaking of PA did you hear there is a movement afoot to move the dimmer switch back to the floor for PA cars? It seems the drivers keep getting their feet tangled up in the steering wheel when trying to use the dimmers that were on the turn signal handle.

I am just now getting used to having them on the turn signal lever. The real bitch is one vehicle you push forward and the other you pull back. Of course the Prius has the volume control where the stupid onstar phone is located in the suburban. Will have to go through that again as it will soon be time to retire the prius for the winter.
Yea they made the motor cycle standardize the controls years ago!
Yet they cant get car manufactures to do the head lights, turn signals, wipers and heaters controls they should be one standard design.
But look at the bright side they dont change the pedals function from one mfg to another yet!!!!

This pic fits this thread, and I just want to say you will NOT catch this buckeye riding the left lane. I pass and then move over. And when I pass I don't dilly dally. I get by the car, cars or trucks and get back in the right lane. Wish the rest in my state would follow my lead. They make us all look bad.

And then here in sw Michigan, FIPs have no idea how to negotiate a roundabout.
Have the senior PGA in town this weekend. The airport is loaded with Gulfstreams, Lears, etc, but the asshats from Illinois drive in. The roads are backed up for blocks because each FIP has to stop at the entrance of a roundabout. Christ on a bike already! Fooking drive already! GO! I could see these asshats in Milan or anywhere else where ther are two and three lane roundabouts. The lunatics over there would kill them. I just might as well!
Start a bail fund for Fred. If I don't kill somebody, we can use the money and have a great party!
