A neighbor who is English by nationality recently returned from London. He was cleaning his mother’s house after she passed away. To the point; he gave me a bottle of Strathconon single malt scotch whiskey. See photos. I won’t open it but am wondering if anyone here has heard or tasted this scotch? It appears to be from the 1970’s.

I sure haven't, but I betcha EastTexFrank has, or maybe a few of the other guys 🤔

Sorry to disappoint you but I've never tasted it and honestly, I've never even heard of it. I have a feeling that it isn't even made any more. I notice that it isn't a Single Malt Whisky but a blend of Single Malt Whiskies which means that it is a 12-year old blend. Nothing wrong with that. In fact, that's what I'm drinking currently.
