I'm not a big fan of the royals, especially the drama of the younger 2 generations, but I have to say that QE2 was exemplary as a pillar of the public family and English monarchy.

Charles/Camila is a shit show I don't care to hear about. Harry/Megan are even more insufferable, which is an astonishing feat because Charles sets a high bar for total human douche nozzles.

Best thing Charles can do is step aside and let the monarchy continue to carry on under William as the next King, with the same level of dignity that QE2 brought to the world stage.

I have to say as much as I respect the job and the service that her majesty performed, and as good as she was as a monarch and an example to the free world, I do think that when they bury her they should probably just disband the royalty completely.

The country for which she set the example no longer exists. Britain is nothing like the country that went to war against Germany. The British left-wing set out to destroy that after World War II and I think they succeeded quite unadmirably.

Brexit was a hopeful stirring but I don’t think it will bring back a country where a monarchy can stand as a symbol of national unity and ambition. I’m not a monarchist myself, but it does make me sad to see that tradition fade out as it has done with Charles as the successor.

The queen’s progeny are a horror show. When they bury the queen they should throw the sceptre and the crown jewels and all the other badges of office in after her and call it done. Tell the rest of them to get a job.

The Royal Monarch is the Head of State for the UK. But the Prime Minister is the Head of Government. The Head of State is a diplomat, both foreign and domestic. The Head of Government is an administrator and helps set policy with the government.

Here in the US, the Head of State is the President. The Head of Government is also the President. Both are the same in the US.
