... Obama may stumble from time to time, all human beings do, but when he speaks he is coherent and maybe that's why the right hates him so much. President Obama doesn't speak in small idiot sound bites and rumor based three word bumper sticker talking points and you know what that means... he's uppity.
Yes, he is coherent when speaking (coherent = consistent and orderly), but that does not make what he is saying cogent. He
was coherent last year when he declared, quite properly, that there was no legal basis for him to overturn immigration law
by fiat; he was also coherent this year when he announced that he was going to do just that; coherency does not indicate
legality, truthfulness, or moral certitude.
Further, it is clear that his "sound bites" are not small; indeed, they are often so lengthy as to lead to audience lethargy.
That does not make them brilliant any more than brevity would make them moronic. In both cases, it is content that
is the determining factor. With this standard in mind, his "sound bites" do appear to be less than enlightening; they are,
to excerpt Macbeth, " ... a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing." In short, his "coherent"
speech is an indication of a decent vocabulary, and naught more.
