This is going to be the first one with my new family mixed in with my children and grandchildren, I'm finally at peace after 2.5 years of hell.

Since my wife had to work this morning, I decided to make a batch of brown sugar cookies to deliver to the fire hall nearby. We started an annual tradition after my accident to deliver a plate of homemade cookies to first responders to show our appreciation for their service over the holidays. These men and women are there working christmas eve to make sure that we are all safe as we enjoy time with family and friends.

We did supper at my aunt's place. Then off to the 7pm service. My wife was singing in the choir. My son served. Then a quick stop at home to grab a gift wrapped pkg of fresh homemade cookies to bring to the local firehall for a treat for them. Now home. Stockings cookies and milk are out. Ready for bed. Santa will be here soon. Shhhhh. Goodnight........
