Here is a test:

http://vocabulary.ugent.be/wordtest/test

Following the questions, the screen will prompts users to place one finger on the 'F' key, for 'No', on their keyboard and another on the 'J' key, for 'Yes'.

Users are then shown a word and asked if they do or do not know this English word.

Each test displays 70 words and 30 letter sequences that look like words but are not actually existing words.

Good luck

I stopped when the first page asked me to complete a profile. :(

yep, it does that as it weights the scores ....I gave it a shot. I do not believe you have o do the profile but not sure since I filled it in. It never asked anything I consider personal that they don't already know from your IP address ....well except for male or female ..the where did you grow up is simply country such as US. College or not etc ....tell em what you want if you want to try it. kinda fun. I did not read theinstructions about it taking off more for things you say yes to if it is not a word. I said yes if not sure and I scored accordingly. 70%

I could not get past the no/yes page to start.
I have a touch screen laptap. Touching nor clicking yes got it to start

:yum: a major flaw to their 'test' LOL

Nope. they do not ask for email or FB id ....as far as I can remember. It's been over 12 hours since I took it though.

Did this just now.
86% but would have had a 89 but I said yes to a non-word so I lost 3%

 I stunk. I know I said that to many non words were real words. As I got farther along I noticed a pattern. Many of the non words are misspelled actual words.
I am going to try it again and not say yes to any words that I don't know the meaning of or I really think are actual words.
