Home Invasion in Millburn NJ caught on nanny cam - brutal beating in front of daughter.

A brutal mid-morning New Jersey home invasion, complete with an assault and robbery, was caught on tape when the homeowner's nanny camera recorded the incident.

The woman's 3-year-old daughter sat on the couch during the ordeal, helpless as her mother suffered a vicious beating at the hands of the 5-foot-11, 210-pound suspect.

Police say the hefty black male, who had a salt-and-pepper beard, took off with an undetermined amount of jewelry following the 10:30 a.m. attack Friday in Millburn. The woman's 18-month-old toddler reportedly slept upstairs during the beating, Capt. Michael Palardy told the Daily News.

“Her love for the children kept her going,” Palardy said of the brave mom, who suffered chipped teeth, a concussion and had her face stitched up.

I'm not a big fan of the death penalty, but in this case I could support an exception. If you question my statement then you have not watched the video.

Oh my yes the death penalty by all means. Very much deserved IMHO as well. Wish they did it the old way in public, and with that sublime moment of extreme pain fallowed by slow death....with the bag concealing the head....

But we got civilized so we don't do this anymore. Too bad...

My dogs are my edge to give me time to get the guns. My big GSD girl can be mighty intimidating when she barks and hits the patio doors with 100 lbs. and makes them shake. UPS guy always looks for her before he leaves the truck. If we are home we usually just walk to the truck and be glad he comes up here. As for the asshole in the flick, he should have all his appendages broken so he has constant pain and learns to walk again.

Torture has it's legitimate place, but not here. This guy should get a large caliber slug to the back of the head, and then be
carted off with the garbage. It might not serve as a deterrent, but it would damn sure guarantee HE wouldn't do this again!

Do it often enough and it sure as hell would act as a deterrent.

Way back when the Generals were in power in Chile, street crime became a problem in Santiago, the capital. The army swooped in to town and picked up 10 known petty criminals, drove them to a military base and loaded them in a helicpter. They flew them out over the Pacific and threw 9 of them out and returned to base and let the 10th one go free. Street crime disappeared almost overnight.

Brutal? .... Yes. Effective? .... Yes.

They found the piece of shit from the Millburn video beating and the bastard has a record of burglarizing 20 homes! How the hell can anyone say with a straight say we are crazy for being anti gun control? This is ridiculous. One guy is responsible for 20 home invasions. That’s just one guy, imagine how many times this happens a week. The man wanted in connection with the recent home invasion and savage beating of a Millburn mother who was captured on a nanny cam and broadcast nationwide was arrested Friday in Manhattan, authorities said.

Shawn Custis, 42, was apprehended by the FBI and detectives from the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office in the lobby of an apartment building on 10th Avenue less than an hour after authorities released his name and issued a warrant for his arrest, acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn Murray said.
