Help tsaw keep what sanity he has left

Sorry tsaw, it truely is an optical illusion with the mind interpreting it as 3D; nothing more sinister going on.

To help your sanity, try cutting a couple circles in a peice of heavy paper [or cereal box, or whatever] the same size and distance apart as the electronic mask.

You will find the "lighter" circles under the "shadow" will be the same shade as the "darker" ones outside the "shadow" when the rest of the picture is masked.

before i answer the original question will someone please help me out by defining 'sanity'? i would really appreciate it, thanks

Well , the definition of insanity is to do the same thing repeatedly ,expecting a different result .
So, I guess that sanity is doing something different every time expecting the same result .
Or. expecting the same results .... never mind , My head hurts .

For purely personal reasons (and 40 years with the government) I appreciate the definition "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over, each time expecting a different result!" However, as to what "sanity" is we had best fall back on a definition I first heard in a physics class:

"As darkness is properly defined as the absence of light, sanity is best defined as the absence of insanity. This flies in the face of the usual definitions, as it allows the possibility of a sane person with a world-view drastically different from the norm, which possibility psychiatry absolutely denies."

if staying on point is sane, and drifting is insane, in this line most are in the purple rubber room

I remember the purple rubber room. thats where they put me when i first came to Sunnyside. i am allowed ot socialize now, but only for a certain period of time, and thats only if im supervised. they tell me i might be able to stop taking the blue pills in a few weeks, though!

As I see it, threads can go any direction, sometimes some slower folk can loose it looking for a reason, when there ain't any. Welcome to the rubber room
