I have been running a tucker deep powder cat model 2743 for 15 years accessing a backcountry chalet....Looks like a good forum for such things...

I manage the field aspect of the operations sorta like a hobby that pays for itself!
run the cat on weekends. Ole tuck has been part of the operation scince 1986 them tracks are 4 feet wide..and much needed snow depth at 6000 feet is 12 feet. I have run it on 18 of snow a few years back...Have not seen many others with tracks that wide..but 12 people with gear is a load..k
