FAFO ... Judge Arrested by FBI for 'allegedly' Aiding Illegal Alien Evade Arrest

AI Overview
In the United States, the First Amendment protects even offensive and hateful speech, including insults, unless it falls under specific exceptions like incitement to violence or defamation. ***such as dealing with the police *** While the government cannot generally restrict offensive speech, individuals and organizations may choose to regulate it through their own policies, like at a university.

You have a somewhat corrupted understanding of our right to "Free Speech."
There is nothing in the Constitution which guarantees your right to insult anyone.
Prove me wrong!
You seem to have no concept of the Constitution whatsoever. Courts have ruled time and again that even hate speech is constitutionally protected. And considering the context, no judge in the country would have agreed that my inquiry constituted "fighting words". Nor would the violent response been proportional even had I used fighting words. Now, can we drop it, or do you have some more anti-constitutional posturing to add?

You have no idea what of what I know.

First Amendment

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Actually the 1st is quite simple and yet specific.

As For Fighting words;;;;;

For the record we are way off the topic. Enough. I'm done here.

AI Response: Is Insulting Police Legal
It is generally legal to insult a police officer in the United States, as the First Amendment protects free speech, including the right to criticize or insult law enforcement officers, provided the speech does not constitute a threat or incite immediate violence.
However, there are exceptions. For instance, if the speech is deemed to be "fighting words" that tend to incite an immediate breach of the peace, it may not be protected under the First Amendment.
Additionally, while non-threatening verbal abuse of a police officer is not in itself criminal behavior, some courts have interpreted what constitutes protected speech in this regard differently.
In some cases, insults may lead to charges such as disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, or obstruction of justice, depending on the jurisdiction and the specific circumstances.
It is also important to note that while it is legal to insult a police officer, doing so can still lead to an arrest, and it is always advisable to remain calm and respectful during interactions with law enforcement.

All these words but all we see is you are very wrong attempting to justify a loud mouth smart ass 17 year old punk at midnight mouthing off to cops.
I think they had you pegged appropriately and attempted to change your outlook on life. Unfortunately, they failed.

Agreed!!!
There is no specific wording in the Constitution regarding the use of insults between persons or with a citizen and officials of the government. There is also no real Constitutional protection from the reaction of the insulted for doing so. Isn't that the point here.

8th amendment, cruel & unusual punishment. You really don't know anything about the Constitution, do you?

That is an amazing stretch. Cruel and unusual punishment is in reference to incarceration terms and treatment of the convicted.
Not your encounter with the police.
Your ignorance is showing and making this an unfair fight.
Like I said, with you, I am done.

Cruel and unusual? I'll tell you what, it wasn't unusual. It was everywhere especially back in the day. It worked great. Changed most of us to be useful contributing citizens instead of whiners holding on to old grudges and not accepting their responsibility.
