Day care isn't something I'm a big fan of but I understand how some people may need to use it. I took a pay cut to get the career flexibility so I could stay home. It was a choice that was important to me.

I agree. A parent should be around 24/7, which I know I (we are). Daycare is not great but is a fact of life and more and more people are doing it. They have to when buying $750,000 homes, $55K cars etc.

My wife did the samething as you. Worth the pay cut. Hell I told her not to even work, but you know how that goes.
