Anyone planning to see TSO this year?

We saw Trans Siberian Orchestra last November. They put on a pretty good show. Lot of harder rock, but it is a pretty good show.

They are coming thru town(Sacramento) again; we're thinking we'll go.

I saw commercials for them but chose a more traditional path for a holiday show. I ordered tickets for THE NUTCRACKER.

Aren't they awesome?
They're supposed to be at The Stranahan in Toledo right after Thanksgiving.
Would love to see them again.. they're on the ticket with a Canadian holiday brass group.

Like Bob, I'll probably catch The Nutcracker as it's always playing somewhere around here, and I love it too!

In any case, I need to see one good live performance at least during the Christmas season.

Lyn's Academy of Dance Nutcracker--All Jazzed Up! Crouse Performance Hall

Well, I just searched for one coming performance of The Nutcracker.. all jazzed up?
Wonder what that would be like?

TSO was AWESOME last year when we saw them. But, they are on the heavy rock side. They definitely did a great show; lights, music, the various singers.

But, I like everything from Patsy Kline to AC/DC, Alison Krause to Led Zeppelin(The Plant/Krause tour a year ago was pretty cool too!)

I don't even want to know.

While I'd love to see the TSO and its NON-traditional take on music, I'd hate to see a "jazzed" version of a classic like the NUTCRACKER.

I understand Lucia Micarelli was their violinist a couple years ago... I really would have liked to see that show; she is awesome in her own right.

Saw TSO both in 2007 and 2008, almost exact same show both times...apparently they pretty much do the same show year after year. So we'll probably skip a year or two and then catch them again...

It is truly an awesome show if you like rock...last year we were in the 2nd row at Hershey...unbelievable.
