Another great passes away

Paul was one of a kind. He didn't get wrapped up in the hollywood hype. He was great at what he did. All his movies were enjoyable. The Sting was a true classic. Cool Hand Luke was another of my favs.
He didn't get wild and crazy like so many hollywood types. He made a great spaghetti sauce and he was an accomplished race car driver and enthusiast. I saw him 30 years ago at Mid Ohio Raceway. That was cool. He was one of a kind and will be missed.

He was a great guy. I met him in 1988 while he was making "Blaze". My buddy, who had a motorcycle shop and was contracted to supply the police escort bikes in the movie, let me attend a couple of the shoots in Baton Rouge, LA. He loved to tell stories and he drank everyday. There was no doubt who ran the show during filming!!!
