And where did YOU come from???

Rusty Shackleford

Automotive M.D.
Well in less than a half hour, the forecast went from 'chance of passing showers' to 'get a boat and a helmet'. Could be an interesting rest of the weekend...

Just seen where there is a nasty storm hitting PG's area now. Most of the stuff you got earlier is breaking apart as it gets here. Not a drop so far. Storms have been coming from the south on a pretty straight line today.

Yeah.
That was not much fun.
Tornado sirens blaring because of the bow echo with some of those storms heading this way.
Bad wind, heavy rains, lightning was out of this world.
I do believe that was the first time I'd ever seen my town and another shown on The Weather Channel.
Dr. Greg Forbes, I don't think knew how to pronounce Delphos or Venedocia (he said places like here and here are going to be under the biggest threat)... but he got Lima right lol

We had some rain here in St louis. A micro burst took out some trees and power lines but mostly itwas simple rain.

Lotsa heat with which the T-Storms could build. Thunderheads to 50,000 feet.

Looks like Kirk may have gotten some up in Iowa too.

Should be over late tonite,,,,,,We'll send it on to you folks in PA.

Just started raining here. Hope it lasts for a while. I just realized the backhoe windows are all open from digging yesterday.

It rained here quite a bit, I have not heard exactly how much yet. My lights were out in my far garage and I have the power back on out there, but the garage door opener aint working.

Noticed my neighbour's moon flower plants and sunflowers are slumped over touching the ground.
They look sad :/

They are still calling for some nasty shit today through tomorrow. I would love for some rain, but the grass is already about a foot tall, if not higher. Little prick that's supposed to mow our lawn has not been here in over three weeks, and we have been getting alot of little storms bring rain over our house lately.

We are in a break from the rain but more on the way from Ohio. Looks like we could get rain off and on most of the day. You should try mowing mine Rusty. By the time you get done it almost needs it again. Mowed some of it twice in the past week. Only had to knock the weed tops off before this but it is growing like mad since we got rain.

I can't wait for the kid to come and finally mow it. It's a half hour yard that will take him at least twice that to mow. It's thick as hell, and wet. Then today it's going to rain and sun through the week. It's gonna reach the sky soon. :w00t2:

I swear there is a wedge at the West end of the county that splits every good weather front and sends it to the North & South of us. It's happened all season long. We barely got enough rain to color up the concrete, much less do any good for the foliage. This was the rain mass that PG got, and now it's over the lake and just exiting Youngstown. We must have a curse on us.

That's what was happening to us earlier in the season, JEV. It would keep straddling us to the north and south.

I just hope today that it holds off a little while. I told Lith I would fix her car today, and I'd rather not do it int he rain. She's at the store right now..

From those storms comes some blessed relief!

Another wave is blowing in from the south right now. Beating on the big window in the living room pretty hard. Pocono race will probably get cancelled today.:hammer:

IF it keeps moving north they may slide by. Something will be coming our way. The real heavy stuff looks to be staying west of here.

Fast mover. Had some very extreme lightning/thunder combos. No fucking clue how the power stayed on. Dish went out right when we were going into extra innings. Back on now.

Pretty steady rain here since about 6:00am...thunder and all...now sun is beating down..humid as hell...and back up to about 85*..:brows:

Keep that heat out there. We are in the 70's now but very humid. I want some cool Canadian air for a while.

woke from a nap not an hour ago to a rather harsh storm. my tv actually told me it was gonna be goin' blank in (this many) seconds after it went fuzzy. haven't seen that until earlier. passed on over now.

Must have gotten some of what had gone through here last night.
Rite Aid on the east side of town had the canvas awning completely ripped off.

Several stop signs were bent to the ground, reports of 2 houses hit by lightning.
Winds from the storm at 8:30 were clocked at 60-75 mph depending on the area.

Heard on the news this AM we are ahead for the month on rain in Indy, coruse I think we are 11 inchs behind for the season and there is still a burn ban, but it is something. And today might have been the nicest ride in of the season. Beautiful morning.
