Has anyone figured out where to get replacement master and slave cylinders with the appropriate part numbers?

Thanks for the info. I had already seen some of these. The problem is that most of that information is now 6-7 years old and that seems to have made the availabilty even more sketchy. The master cyclinder seems to still be available in a few locations. The slave is the real problem as it turns out. Right now I am trying to figure out a work-around. Once I have that nailed down, I will pass that information along, in case it is helpful.

This issue came up while rebuilding my slave cylinders on my 1404 Imp last winter.The cylinder bores were pitted and leaked pretty bad.I had my friend at a machine shop make new sleeves to the right dimensions and bore the old cylinders the right amount and press them in place.I paid maybe $150 for the pair along with the proper rebuild kit and they have worked flawlessly ever since.My friend did say he would charge more next time due to time and setup issues but any good machine shop should be able to pull it off.Just a little FYI. I have done the web search as well as the auto parts store thing and it looks like the only things available at this point are rebuild kits, not entire slave cylinders. I guess these machines are getting old like me.

That is a very workable suggestion. I just have not yet admitted to myself that such a rework is the path of least resistance for the slave cyclinder. Truth be told, I am trying to resolve a master cyclinger issue and thought that I should do the slave at the same time-just because. My cat is 800 miles from my house so when I get to go back in a couple of weeks I will be able to check on a few things and make some decisions on the scope of the repair. Thanks for the suggestion.

I had to replace both master and slaves on a 1969 Imp in the past. The slaves were done about 2 years ago. At that time, there were no replacements available, but I did buy rebuilt ones from Spryte Improvement (http://wallace-id.com/foster.html) and was very pleased with the job. They will want your old ones so they can rebuild them for someone else. They posted a few posts up from this one (Snowcat Pat).

I cannot remember where I got the master cylinders from (perhaps RemoteAccessService.com), but if Pat from Spryte Improvement has them, I would feel comfortable getting them from him too.

I remember we fussed around for years trying to ream out the master cylinder bore and use a rebuild kit from Napa, but we never got it right. I think if it is pitted badly enough, you need to put a sleeve in it like another poster above mentioned.

I may be a little late to help you but here goes:

There are literally dozens of new master cylinders on ebay. Prices range from 75 to 100 bucks, usually with free shipping. I got two for $80 each. Just search for M36067 (Dorman) MC36067 (Raybestos) MC36313 (Wagner) or CENTRIC 130.65007 or do a general search for "1966 Ford Econoline van master cylinder".
There was also an actuator rod for 12 bucks if anyone needs one. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p2047675.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.X1966+ford+econoline+master+cylinder&_nkw=1966+ford+econoline+master+cylinder&_sacat=0&_from=R40

I found new slave cylinders here http://www.powerbrake-drivetrain.com/servlet/the-845/SLAVE-CYLINDER-WAGNER-/Detail but they are pretty pricey at $534 each. I was able to bore and sleeve mine http://www.forumsforums.com/3_9/showthread.php?t=63147&page=5 (thread 89 - 100) which should last the rest of my life, or have Pat at Spryte improvement do it for you.
