new from Chicago

Welcome aboard! I hope you enjoy your time here.
Do you like living in Chicago? It's a pretty large city.

Welcome from the very far south (beyond) the edge of the suburban Chicago sprawl. My daughter actually lives in South Loop. But we reside in a rural farming area along the ILL state line but on the sunny side of the state line in Indiana.

thank you for the warm welcome

thank you. yes i live in chicago its a pretty city

Our oldest daughter lives in Chicago, in a high rise in a quiet spot in the South Loop. In fact I'll be there tomorrow for a few hours. She used to be in Wrigleyville, we are glad she moved as her current location is a lot easier to get to. Generally safer spot too.

I have friends in the city, mostly north, up around Belmont.

We live in rural NW Indiana, far enough out to see the glow of the city in the night sky on the horizon, but close enough to get to Chinatown for some good dim sum when we get the hankering.

I used to live in Bolingbrook, worked in Belwood for a while and then had a packaging company where McCormick Place Building #5 now sits. This was back in the 1970's. I really liked the city but, not sure I would want to be there now.
