I've made it probably 18 or 20 times in the last 4 years attempting to get it as good as I had in a restaurant in Mexico once.
Still can't get it that good.

Honestly I used Hamburger Helper Beef Stroganoff.

Clearly I am one of the "unwashed" masses.

Can't recall how long it has been since I've eaten a real beef stroganoff. At least several decades.

This was a small restaurant, maybe sat 50 people maximum if that, nothing much to look at, be easy to drive on by and never give it another thought. It was January or February 2019, my daughter and I had dinner there. Can't even remember the name of it to call and ask if they would be willing to share their secret with me, but it is still in the top 3 of meals I've ever had. Swear that if I close my eyes, and think about it real hard, I can taste it still.
